I replaced two wifi extenders with the Netgear Orbi system and cleared up several problems. I compared the Orbi system against cheaper two radio systems and decided to purchase the Orbi three radio system to maximize transmission speeds. Locating the satellite units was aided by the color coded lights that display blue, yellow, red, depending on the strength of the signal front the router. After getting the satellites properly located, I was able to get stronger coverage on my front and back patios. Sound and video transmission problems I had previously when streaming over Apple TV inside my house is now working without a hitch. I had to turn off the router on my modem/router installed by my interned service provider to reduce interference with the Orbi router. After turning off the competing router, my wifi signal strength increased significantly. I tested signal strength using one of the many free apps that measure internet download and upload speeds. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Recently we replaced a previous WiFi system for many reasons; but mostly because it was so difficult to setup and maintain its connectivity. This was quickly remedied with our new NETGEAR Orbi Whole Home Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 6 System. The setup is quick and very easy. Coverage is amazing with just the central unit hub and one satellite. The entire house is covered. WiFi is consistent and strong with this Orbi hub. The design of the unit is sleek and non obtrusive in our home decor. We are looking forward to many years of service from our purchase as this was one of the deciding factors for this brand and unit.

I upgraded from a single Nighthawk X4S router, and I could immediately tell the difference in connection stability. I live in a 2000 sqft house, and I have excellent coverage throughout. Between everyone's phones, computers, TVs, and all the various smart appliances, I typically have 20 devices connected at the same time and the system handles all the traffic with ease. Absolutely no complaints so far. Setup was simple enough through the Orbi app. With the router and two satellites I am able to get great coverage throughout the house and backyard.

We were having a lot of issues with our regular router, particularly dropping internet connections and our oldest son who is a technology engineer suggested this particular Wi-Fi system. Glad we took his advice; we’ve not had a single issue of connectivity. We’re getting faster speeds and able to connect more devices without slowing down the network or causing issues for others who are connected wirelessly. It spreads fast, steady internet speeds throughout our home. I strongly recommend this whole house Wi-Fi system for so many reasons, of which the reliability and the reasonable price are just some of the examples.

We live in an area where internet choices are slim and really our only option is satellite even though we’d like some bigger names here. But, alas we are stuck with some basic stuff. We recently moved in the same town and while choices didn’t, speeds did. We bought a larger home for our family of 6. 3 teens are part of this. A lot of streaming and tech items. Plus I work from home, legit homeschool and have a son with a pretty fab flight sim (to live out his dream of becoming a pilot...it’ll happen!). Not only do we have the fast speeds but no lags or begging someone to get off something so I can work. We have a 4000 sq ft home on 1.3 acres and purchased one Orbi router plus one mesh. The router is upstairs and mesh downstairs. It has proven to be amazing plus, we get internet at the 30*30 shop at the back of our property! Now that’s fantastic! I recommend this to all of our friends here because options are slim pickings!

I had a night gear nighthawk wifi router for my 2700sq home and it wasn’t reaching all areas. So naturally i had a couple of wifi extenders throughout the home to extend the coverage. It worked but my wifi speeds were slow. I saw the Orbi system at my local Costco and went home to look at reviews on it plus compare it to other options. After a couple of days and reading a lot of reviews later i went back and bought the router thinking it should moderately improve the speed and coverage. The setup was effortless and quick and easy. I had coverage throughout the whole home with the 2 satellite wifi routers. The only hard part was setting all the speakers, rings, alexia’s to the new channel. I would say this setup worked for me. I am 100% happy with the result.

We always have a great experience with NetGear equipment and when our previous NetGear WNDR4300 router (which was 8 years old) needed an upgrade, we purchased an ORBI AX4200 for our ~4,000 sq. ft. house. The setup for the ORBI AX4200 exceeded expectations with simple instructions and fast implementation. Additionally, the ORBI NetGear phone application provides easy access to WiFi capabilities and usage, device management, and current internet speeds. The new internet upload and download speeds are significantly faster with our ORBI AX4200 and the WiFi reach now includes the outdoor areas of our front and back yards (~10,000 sq. ft. lot). NetGear devices work efficiently with little to no maintenance. We will continue using NetGear devices for their durability, ease, and longevity. We would highly recommend NetGear products to anyone.

For the past 6 months, my wifi has been terrible. I kept thinking it was my ISP. My VOIP phone couldn't hold a call, iPhones and iPads were terrible over wifi. So someone recommended I look into a mesh system. After researching, I landed on Orbi and it has been amazing. It was super easy to setup and I was able to offload several devices off the WIFI with the satellites (e.g. I hard wired my VOIP phone, printer, and PS5). I have not had any issues since. Even my Arlos are working again (for some reason they would not work with xfinity's gateway). Highly recommend this system.

I put up WiFi cameras around my house but my WiFi signal couldn’t quite meet the range required to adequately support the cameras, so I got the Orbi system to solve the problem. The set up was very easy. Both the written and App instructions are well written and easy to follow. I put my satellite units in the rooms of the house closest to the cameras. The difference the Orbi made was immediate. I went from weak WiFi to good WiFi on all my cameras. The only downside is with my old router, I had a 2G and 5G option for WiFi. The Orbi only recognizes the 2G. So I just slaved my old router off the new Orbi router so I still have the 5G for TV streaming. Bottom line, Orbi is a great product and solves the weak WiFi signal to the far reaches of my 3300 sq ft house.

Blazing fast and very easy to setup. Covered my entire property with no drops. Returned my slow Google Nest/Mess product that was slow and wanted me to provide way too much personal info

I was not easily convinced about purchasing a Mesh system when I thought a beefier router was the way to go. I had also used signal repeaters in the past and they were not very effective. The Orbi system far exceeded my expectations. I no longer have dead zones in my home and my signal reaches throughout my entire property! Setup was much easier than expected and the step-by-step instructions were perfect. I wish I would have switch to Mesh years ago!

Setup was very easy. 10 devices connected right away. Internet access on each connected device has been rock solid since day one. Coverage inside our 2400 sq. ft. home is very good.

I just replaced my Fios WiFi 6 router with Orbi. So glad I did. Easy to setup, reliable and receiving faster speeds than Verizon’s own devices on my Gigabit service. Love it.

This product was very easy to set up and I get extremely fast speeds. Super easy to add devices to the network and awesome coverage. Well worth the money.

Had the nighthawk with extender but this is much better. Widespread coverage, strong signal, easy set-up. I have the 3 pack with 1 router and 2 satellites.

I purchased this system because i had a lapse in my Ring system. I assumed it was my provider until i asked a couple of people that are in this field. They advised me what to do so i went and purchased this remarkable mesh system! Easy installation, simple to use, greatest purchase yet in my opinion. I swear this it's the greatest purchase I've made sorry for repeating but it's a fact!!

I switched from Cable to Fiber Optic and wanted to take advantage of the higher download and upload speeds advertised by the Fiber company. The Netgear Orbi system I got does not dissappoint. I went from 200-300Mbps to a scorching 900 download speed!! Wow, I certainly was impressed when I first saw the improvement. My old system had issues with not only data transfer rates but staying on with increased traffic in my household. It would be unreliable and kick one or more of our devices off or need to be rebooted over and over to stabilize things. The Orbi handles all the streaming that my family can throw at it without a single hiccup! I am very pleased to have stepped up to the significantly faster, more reliable and stable Orbi Tri-band Mesh system! It’s a leap forward in light years for my household! Netgear has found a new loyal customer, for the future, if they keep up the quality of their products!

Solved a lot of problems. Very easy to set up. Great speed and range. Cured my security camera dropout problems. Very happy with Orbi
