Slow Mesh

Oddly the connection between wifi points, aka backhaul connection, only use 5ghz. This means the whole mesh speed is downgraded to wifi 6 instead of 6e. No benefit over cheaper version of these routers at the moment. Seems like its worth waiting for Wifi 7 before upgrading.

I needed to have better coverage with my two story home as I work from home. The Wi-Fi coverage is incredible and the transfer speeds are amazing. I have Apple devices and I will have to wait for Apple to integrate to the new Wi-Fi 6E. I would highly recommend purchasing this 3-pack.

Too Expensive

Also the main features like parental control and network security are an additional monthly/ yearly charge. Similar products have those built in for free.

I had the Asus 6e mesh with 2 satalites and always had issues. I put the orbi in a few eeeks ago and its been amazingly solid and strong. We have 50 devices in the house and not a single real issue. All devices maintain strong connections with plenty of bamdwidth. Its expensive but totally worth it.
