    My configuration is Router + 2 Satellites, hard wired by Cat7 ethernet cables. 5Gbps network connectivity. After paying over 1,500$, if you are looking for a router that you configure and forget. This is not it. From day zero there have been unresolved issues as below. - Service drops degrades when moving device from Router to Satellite. Mesh is not seamless. - Upload speed is not consistent and drops to as low as 150Mbps on speedtest - Claimed 200 clients can connect but noted that the router drops clients. I have 106 (Mostly IOT). To reduce this I moved the security cameras upstream to modem/router to reduce router load. Issue reduced but continues. - Coverage claimed is 9,000 sqfeet, Which for three devices would be circles of 30 feet radius with overlap. I do not get the coverage and had to add a repeater from TP link. - Just 48 hours back Network Map on the App shows incorrect. This sued to be correct and network topography has not been changed since. One satellite not displayed, though on desktop webportal and main page of App shows router and 2 satellites. Clients shown connected incorrectly. Second satellite says connected wired but does not say to what. - Support asked for debug log which was 13 MB but when emailed to them, they cannot receive large files and have no drop link. I had to create a link from personal dropbox to share it. - Support made no progress on issues flagged 3 weeks now.

    Terrible Reliability So Far

    This is the most money I have ever spent on a router mesh system. I have owned for 3-months and have had terrible results. Admittedly, I have a smart home with about 64 devices connected, including wi-fi controlled lights, ceiling fans, and wi-fi cameras. This system keeps dropping out the 2.4GHz band. I have to reset the power 4-5 times and completely reset from factory settings twice. I have worked with ORBI multiple times. I need reliability because I travel and want to see my cameras and security system from anywhere. Maybe, I have a bad unit. I need to contact support again.

    Worse performance than 3 year old Orbi mesh system

    I wanted to upgrade my home network as I have 2GB fiber optic internet service... This was purchased to replace my Orbi RBK852 (850 series) Tri-band WiFi 6 mesh system. These are priced steep, but I thought they'd be a worthwhile upgrade to my home. I couldn't be more wrong. My RBK852 system would average around 300-400mbps download/upload wirelessly. This new 960 series I could only achieve a max of 300mbps across multiple devices, but that is the max and the usual speeds were slower. There also was the issue where devices would connect to the furthest router/satellite instead of the closest... I don't have that issue with the 850 series. I tried factory resetting both the router and satellite, upgrading the firmware, changing positioning, modifying settings... but I colud not achieve better results. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. This is not worth almost $1200 after taxes. I returned it and put back my original system and I'm back to faster wireless speeds again. I am going to move on to a different brand for the next system.

    ZERO stars for this product and the Netgear company/customer service. I paid $1630 for this 6 months ago before it started malfunctioning with constant cutting-out of intermittent internet issues both wired and wireless. (5 minutes of connectivity, then 10 minute so no connectivity) Netgear support failed to fix the issue after multiple phone calls advising me of alternate setting adjustments/resets/internet provider phone calls, etc. (not to mention repeatedly being hung up on and chats being abruptly closed. Beyond frustrating! The product simply malfunctioned after a short 6 months of use (yes, i paid $1630 for it). Netgear will do nothing more to help, replace or offer a repair of the product. I will NEVER buy or endorse another Netgear product in my entire life. BUYER BEWARE!!!

    Top of the line mesh system at a high cost

    This mesh wifi has all the latest bells and whistles. It the latest wifi standards and functionality that support fast wireless and wired connections. There seems to still be some bugs in the software though. I have had issues with the router periodically dropping connections to various devices on my netrwork requiring me to reboot the device to get them back on. Customer service has attempted to fix the issue several times, but it still happens. I'm sure it will eventually be fixed in a firmware update. Till then it's a minor inconvenience to be on the bleeding edge of technology.

    So expensive and did not even last 6 months. I started to notice issues with connectivity and when I called customer service, I was told my 90 days free tech support expired and they’re not able to help until I purchase a tech support service. So not happy with this.

    Triple the speed of our prior Wifi 6 system. Far less drop outs. We work from home so we needed this. Love it so far. Worth every penny!

    Everymorning the orbi needs a hardboot reset. Very expensive. Very crappy. It seems that when there are lots of computers the product gets overloaded. My Best Buy return policy is out but net gear as a company is very awful at hardware replacement. Netgear support states there is a hardware problem but will not give me a written documentation or replacement , so the hardware warranty is useless. Been talking to them for over a month now

    I love the system but man did does netgear false advertises here. WoW. They even printed parental control picture on the box lol. I thought they must not be lying here becuase i spent more for this but they did. No parental controls here either in the orbi app. Sure great product but i just cant stand a company trying to get away here. You have the audacity to charge 1500 i am to lazy to take it apart twice now, you got me but you deserve one star and people need to know.

    Stopped working 3.5 months after purchase

    I purchased this in October and stopped working in December. I contacted Netgear the middle of December and 3 weeks later I was offered a replacement after I had already purchased a nother system so I could connect to my internet at home. I was told each time that someone would contact me in 24 to 48 hour and I can tell you not to believe that because in 3 weeks I have not received one phone call from Netgear. I have had to call them each time and be on hold for over 30 minutes. This will be the last thing I ever purchase that has ORBI or Netgear on it.

    The Best of the Best By Art Greenberg 12345 I spent a lot of time researching the new WiFi 6 and 6E mesh systems. I quickly found that companies that say that they give you high speeds (2.5gig, or 5gig), don’t really produce those speeds. The Netgear Orbi AXE11000 WiFi 6E Mesh System does it, and does it well. Bravo Netgear!

    Satellite Issues

    Bought this router a couple months ago and it worked great to start. Now satellite continually blinks white and does not work. Power cycled and factory reset does not work. I will be looking for a new router that is not named orbi. Really disappointed especially how much I paid.
