I was recommended this system by a friend who knows a lot more about networks than I do. It was a great recommendation. The app makes the Orbi easy to use and more importantly, makes it easy to find out all the stats you may want to know about your network. You can disconnect specific devices from the network with just a few clicks on your phone or tablet. Additionally, setting it up was easy and painless.

Bought this router so I could get better coverage in my house, as well as reliability. Never have an issue dropping signal, and the extender is easy to set up, and gives the range an added boost.

Purchased for my mother in law. She said it helped but wasn't a perfect fit. That being said she was trying to get her basement and upstairs in sync. Meanwhile there were 2 closed doors, walls, and a floor/ceiling basically blocking any signal from any direction. But like i said...it did improve things just not consistent enough. If you are looking just to go from one room to the next without any closed doors I'm sure it would be perfect

For the longest time I thought my horrible wifi service was the provider's fault. They replaced their modem and upgraded my service many times over a 5 year period. I wasn't able to FaceTime or Zoom for more than 3-5 minutes without having to restart. Calls were dropped. Connectivity was terrible. It has been especially important to have good wifi connections since Covid-19. Then someone recommended a (different) Net Gear product. Went to Best Buy and the tech recommended Orbi after I explained my issues. It was as if he knew exactly what I needed. I'll continue to buy Net Gear products! Trust me - this product is worth every penny spent!!

Orbi replaced a very old router that had seen much better days. We’re amazed at how our WiFi extends throughout our house. Very easy to set up, too. Excellent product!

This was so easy to set up and immediately and completely solved my WiFi range issue in a far corner of my house that is the master suite. The extra cost for this device is well worth it.

Works as advertised. The setup was easy and the coverage was wide. I don’t really use the app much, so it is more of an uneccesary extra.

Our house has plaster walls so we got the package with satellite router and now we have a strong signal throughout the house. It was really easy to connect to our network.

Easy to setup, solved my two floor Wi-Fi dead zones issues. The one Ethernet port on the back could be an issue if you want to use the LAN for more than one device.

Set up was quick and straightforward with no issues. All devices connected without problems and stay connected. Signal strength is excellent throughout the house, garage, and patio.

This was also recommended to me by my brother. It was on sale black friday and finally got the chance to get it. And it is great. I have signal downstairs and upstairs. All super speed!!

Very pleased. Easy set up. The satellite was plugged in on other side of house to ensure coverage and is working well. The wireless option is great.

Super easy to install! My original wifi router kept kicking me out and watching videos and doing facetime with my daughter on the mainland was horrible! Once I downloaded the app and followed it step by step, it was up and running in the blink of an eye. My ring doorbell, facetime, Duo, Disney+, my phone, laptop etc with this Orbi with wall mount satellite, NO PROBLEM! it connects fast and I have FULL bars!! I highly recommend this wifi router and HIGHLY recommend you download the Orbi app and flow the instructions to the T and you'll love it as much as I do!

Replaced my old system with the Orbi and my signal strength is much stronger. Easy to set up and very compatible with all other items interfacing.

Bought this on 04/10/2020. So far, it's doing it's job. Increased my wifi range, more stable connection throughout my town home. Original set-up was a pain--I restarted the installation process 5 times because of issues with set-up. I have background in IT--pretty sure it wasn't me. Another issue to be aware of, since it's a mesh network router set-up, you can not manually separate the 2.4GHz from the 5GHz. What this means, is if you have devices that must run on 2.4GHz, it may pose a problem as the Orbi will always try to connect your devices to the 5GHz. network. There is no way to manually configure these to be separate through the admin. set-up options. Problem: I was installing alexa enabled lights that required configuration on 2.4GHz, but I couldn't connect because of the Orbi attempting to connect me to the 5GHz connection. My phone app kept quitting since it could not locate a 2.4GHz network. Solution: I walked outside of my home, and got just close enough to connect to the network (2.4GHz is long range, so it picked up on that first). I set up my device from outside of my front yard and it all worked out from there.

Happy I went with the Netgear Orbi system. Very easy to set up (< 15 minutes), great coverage in my house, and internet is much faster now. Very happy with this purchase

I've installed several of these mesh networks. Netgear so far has been the easiest. This particular one replaced a wifi router/extension combo in a 1100 sqft house with odd interference. It worked out well and streaming off the smart TV's over wifi has finally given the customer a pleasant experience. My only wish is the satellite had a LAN port since some of the audio equipment required it. Works out well with streaming on smart TV, iPad and various phones all at same time doing different chores.

This Orbi solved my problem. I could not get consistent wifi in my bedroom and finally it works perfectly. Super easy to use and very effective!

Setup simple and easy to do, instruction are on target, Utilize several of these setup and the three pair system through many different offices that need mesh WiFi throughout for patient access. Would recommend for light commercial use, home, or any other application that is not considered to be large scale. Can utilize the pro version for large scale application. HINT: connect both base and satellite close as plausible will speed up the process of finding each other and firmware upgrade. Assure internet connection to modem is live prior to setting up. Never skip your firmware updates its worth the time!

Internet connection is so much better than it was before. Set up was fairly easy and app isn’t hard to figure out at all. Overall an awesome product
