We had to return it due to unique circumstances, in that we didn’t need it after all. We do know however, that it has greatly helped friends of ours get better WiFi reception

Speedtest is slow
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use a cable wired to work a new DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem, get result 300 mbps. So fast, but if I have to add this wireless router connected and get result 70-100 mbps. So slow.

Bad Software

I had to reset up twice, once to start and again after update. Non consistent speed across the mesh, with drops below 30Mbps on a 600+ meg base connection with 1 active device. When it works it is blazing fast but that is only 10%-20% of the time tested over a 24 hour period. I when back to my original google Wi-Fi because it just works, with zero drops. Avoid until software is fixed.

MAJOR ISSUES

I verified it was not my internet signal. It would constantly drop signal and reset every 15 minutes during various parts of the day. This was the case even when I was hard wired into the router. I've spent countless hours on hold and with support at Netgear. Now, I have to pay to ship this faulty product back and if I don't want to wait over a week for the replacement, I have to pay more money. This seems unreasonable for a product that seems to have faulty hardware, according to their own support techs.
