great product, unstable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Netgear Orbi is a great option to control all your wifi connections and set up a great in-home network. Unfortunately, there are several stability issues and signal becomes weak and requires a system reset several times per week.

Trash
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I spent over an hour trying to pair and configure it and it still wasn’t t working and functioning properly. The satellites would pair then lose connectivity. After 5, 6 resets on all three pieces of the equipment, I box it up and returned it back to Best Buy. One moment the app would show I have internet connection, and the next moment, I don’t. 1 satellite would show pair and the other pair wouldn’t but the light would be solid blue on both satellites which means they paired and in sync with the router

Crippled by bad firmware
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup was fairly simple and it was up and running within 15 minutes. One of the satellites was appearing as an Android device and no devices were connecting to it according to the browser admin menu. I decided to update the firmware to hopefully resolve the problem. After updating the firmware the wireless signal was unstable and the wireless backhaul signal between the router and satellites was showing as "Poor". I was unable to revert to an older stable firmware for more than a minute or two before the device automatically updated itself back to the newer but unstable firmware and there doesn't seem to be a simple method to prevent the automatic firmware update. Searching the Netgear forums it appears I'm not alone in this issue since the firmware was released in October 2018 so I'm unfortunately going to have to return this item to the store.

Garbage - Stay away
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Junk. Has no range. I have Aerohive AP330s right now. The Netgear radio is very weak. It only show 4 available channels on 5ghz. Not sure how you do backhaul on 5GHz and provide AC as you would need to bond 4 channels. I'll rather spend more money and upgrade my 330s to the Aerohive 230s to get real wifi. Thanks for wasting 2 hours of my day. I'll return this crap.

cant separate ssids
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointed with this system is always choosing 2.4ghz on electronics that i need it to be on 5ghz if u want to make this product good let us have separate ssids like a normal router and change channels as well like Linksys velop does.

Parental controls cost money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Be aware, the parental controls COST MONEY, a MONTHLY fee - not a one time purchase. I am so disappointed in this software that requires you to pay for services many products offer for free.
