Was having problems picking up wifi outside my house not problem now

Switched internet providers and got my own equipment- this was an excellent choice.

Router gives you good coverage.Also have better access outside the home.

If you stream video this is a dream mesh WiFi and took maybe 10 minutes to set up.

Did the job I needed it to do. Kept the signal around the house.

I bought this to cover my entire house - 1700 sqft. Ended up shutting the satellite down as I was told it contributed to the unstable connections. So as I did that the unstable connections continued. After a really frustrating call to Netgear to figure out what is going on the technician must have been running on old instructions as I did what they asked several times and the end result of a hard reset was never achieved. We changed some random settings without much of a reason why and today still have issues. Asked for my device to be replaced as the tech thought that the device may be defective. All I can say is if you can't count on it to be available than all the other speed, mesh, newer wifi doesn't really matter.

After six month use and averaged 1400gb to1500gb use a month of video, music, smart home it failed after 3 months. Started once a week then 2-3 time a week dropping. Verified w Xfinity service not a local failure. In short it’s going back for a replacement. WiFi router failed under a yr.

This is a great router/Wi-Fi combo. No more interference from neighbors!

Traded in our Xfinity Modem for this...better signal throughout the house. Highly recommend.

Works well for multi 4K streaming on several devices

I've had modems in the past that I purchased so I did not have to pay the ISP rental fee. I always ran into the same problem where the ISP would deliberately throw an error into the signal that would lock the modem up. This product for me was no different. To top it all off Netgear customer service was extremely unhelpful and seemed to not care about this issue. The pro to this combo was the WiFi range. It was pretty incredible. I would recommend using the Orbi Mesh with a separate modem strictly for the WiFi range this combo provided.

Best modem we've ever used 10 of 10 would buy again

During setup I could never get the base unit to recognize the satellite. The satellite ring would change to blue like it was operating ok but it was never recognized as a satellite. The base would state to move the satellite closer. I finally moved the satellite to within a straight view of approximately 15 feet and it still did not pick it up. Bedroom TV WIFI reception would fade in and out. Not satisfied. Took it back to store for refund. Going to keep my four year old modem router.
