Customers highly value the Orbi Tri-Band AC2200 Mesh WiFi System's extensive coverage, ease of use, and strong signal strength, frequently praising its simple setup and improved range compared to previous systems. Many appreciate the system's performance and reliable WiFi for multiple devices. While some experienced connection difficulties and noted the higher price point, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs these concerns.

Still need time to work out the issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had cable provided internet router and replaced with this item, still working on getting the maximum speed. The second piece wouldn't work where we wanted it set up.

Great Wifi System if not for firmware issues!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This system really worked great for a little over 6 months, although it never could properly download any firmware correctly, which resulted in a faulty router that was replaced by NETGEAR (phone support is horrible, by the way) once, but the second only worked for 5 minutes! You then have to purchase phone support for them to even consider helping you since your purchase is over 90 days. Very expensive mistake.

Terrible experience
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got the orbi delivered. Go to set it up, it had already been opened. Would not connect. Called orbi and went thru the routine, come to find out the unit that was delivered to us, was no good!! They told us to return it!! Maybe that’s why it came in box, opened, somebody must have already returned it!! So, it was returned to Best Buy!!

zero stars if I could
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reading all the "professional" reviews that called this product great, and reading all the "normal people" reviews on Amazon that read "buyer beware", "absolute garbage", "worst product ever", I chose to try it anyway. After all, Apple backs it, by carrying it . I should have listened to the Amazon reviews and you should to. After two weeks of really good internet coverage, I now can't go one our without several drops. As for the customer service, I spent an extra $75 on "pro support" and I am presently on hold and its been 1 hour and 19 minutes. All stores should stop selling this product immediately until Netgear fixes their issues.

Don’t waste your money on this!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 1Gps internet service through Comcast/Xfinity! The modem/router says I’m get 1.2Gps to the modem. When it comes to Ethernet connected devices I’m only getting up to 60mps max across all devices. Even if I only have one connected device. Like my laptop that usually gets top speeds, even with a cheap modem router. The WiFi is even worse! You only get top speeds of 40mps. I have tried all different types of settings that the Orbi will allow. Nothing changes. The firmware must be the problem. Never update it if you buy it, as of right now. Netgear is not trying to help. I’ve contacted support. Even talked to someone. They can’t help either. The only thing I can say positive about it. Is it gets that connection around my whole neighborhood block. I live in a very big apartment complex too. Overall I’m disappointed. If you like help getting it connected to Comcast. I can help. Since Netgear made this very hard to activate on Comcast/Xfinity. It took awhile to figure it out. Nothing in the box, like any the manuals inside, helps!!

Terrible Mesh Wifi Setup
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The worst router I have owned. I get roughly half the speed I should get when connected to the router. When connected to the satellite, I get roughly 1/10th the speed I should be. I have them placed within the range recommended by netgear. On top of the poor performance, within a few months, one of the ethernet ports died and no longer works. Spend the extra money and get a quality mesh wifi set up. This is a total waste of money, unless you are looking for a setup that throttles your internet speeds.

Don't buy - get Eero
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrible units, flaky, terrible customer support, clunky, poor software - can't put multiple locations into same app... very difficult to keep current... failure prone... slow -- not really a MESH network - just buy Eero and get MUCH better performance with a San Francisco company that gets software support!
