We have had problems with routers in the past not reaching all areas of the house so the clerk at BB recommended the Orbi and he was exactly right. We no longer need extender beyond the second station it comes with. We get good coverage all over the house and yard. It was easy to set up and install.

The Orbi is good assuming you have a large space you want to cover (Like 3000sq Feet). Otherwise you will run into constant reboots as the system will have your devices jumping between the router and satellite causing a lot of frustration.

This mesh system has 5 thousand foot range, reaches all the way to my front and backyard, I have a 3 floor house and this is the best in my opinion, I highly recommend this mesh system to anyone with internet range issues as they will be solved! Thank you Best Buy!

Great modem/router easy set up and great WiFi expander

I brought this orbi not so long ago and so far my experience with it goes up and down. First, their app is completely horrible and from time, it kick you out the account and having to log in again. Don’t be fooled that it can do “2.2 GBps” and please make sure what are their specs do. since it is a tri-band, you got two 5Ghz and one 2.4Ghz that all add up to 2.2GBps. This product’s range is great that it can cover a three bedroom apartment plus a few more sq ft. The thing that was a complete let down is that if you’re having an issue with an orbi, customer service won’t help you unless you brought their extended warranty.

This was an expensive product but worth it. I wanted to decrease the clutter I had for my entertainment set up. This was the only mesh system at the time that offered the modem/router set up. Not a bad investment.

My internet is much faster than before and I already had a good router. This thing covers my entire house while my family (all 4) are all on the net at the same time. I connected my desktop to the satellite by Ethernet cable and it is twice as fast as before. I love this product.

As soon as I hooked it up, and did the quick set up I was getting the Wi-Fi speeds I am paying for (400mbps) all through out my two story home. A few tweaks are needed for gaming but they are very simple after a Google search, and work great!

So far so good with WIFI. user friendly. but I don't need a wifi unit to look nice. most of the time these things go in a closet or somewhere not to be seen, as is the case in my house. i would have liked something more practical-i.e. could be wall mounted. ut it works fine.

Replaced Motorola cable modem, Apple router and Linksys WIFI extender because of WIFI dead spots and frequent dropped WIFI signal on extender. Easy setup. The Orbi eliminated the WIFI dead spots in house. WIFI is now reliable and faster!

Can’t believe what an improvement this router was to my house wifi. All my Apple devices picked the 5G band automatically and are so much faster. The problems streaming through Alexa quit. Problems with a large family accessing the wifi at the same time and dropping you, quit. Love the MESH feature.

This modem increased my internet speed but I still have connection issues with my security camera. Very expensive and not so easy to install

This sets up so easy. And once done, all your devices that connected to your old router automatically are paired with it. Works great. Connected Tend Micro cameras and MyQ garage sensors with no issues. Get a Great signal everywhere in the house now.

To be sure, still some quirks to be worked out...hopefully (presumably?) these will happen through app/hardware updates, as the Orbi system itself took time to really “lock in”. The Modem works well and has great potential, particularly if you are partial to the Orbi System. No complaints here.

I have the set up to expand my WiFi range and it’s in my basement in the far room of the house. I have a theater that has a dead zone and it works great. I was nervous that it would always be a dead zone but my children can now watch on demand and Netflix down there.

I purchased this online from Best Buy based on the high reviews and the fact that I didn't see the Intel logo on the box. After I ordered I discovered that this modem had the Puma 6 chip. While some may argue that the firmware updates have 'fixed' the latency spike issues, I am not willing to find out. I had issues with a Puma 6 modem already. I rated it 3 stars because many seem to be happy with the item, but they also may not know they have an issue. I returned the item unopened, so consider that with this review. I just want those that do care to be aware.

NETGEAR - Orbi Tri-Band AC2200 Mesh WiFi System with 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem built-in (2-Pack) is an excellent wifi system. This system is very easy to set-up. Unit reboots very quickly if the power goes out.

This unit and the extension are amazing. It covers our whole house and deck area. Set up was a bit different than other modem we have had, but it’s amazing.
