The powerline Gigabit adapter is super-easy to setup. You plug both ends into the wall, and they're connected, like you ran a cat-5 cable from your computer to your router. I would recommend routing television cables (coax) away from the powerline however, because it can interfere with your tv signal if its running next to the wall where you're using the adapter.

I didn't even know I needed this product or that it existed. I planned to drill through some walls, fish for some wires, and buy a really long ethernet cord to finish my project, but this tool fixed all of those problems at a fraction of the cost! Setup was super easy. Plug in and press the connect button. I'd recommend this product to anyone trying to connect their Internet to another electronic. I used mine to connect my security cameras to the router, so I can view my cameras online.

I bought two sets of these because I wanted to extend my fire tv, arlo and Sonos system. Two out of three isn't bad. Worked good with arlo and fire tv, but could not seem to get it working with Sonos. The set up of these devices for arlo and firetv was very easy. Ended up just tweaking my wifi for Sonos. All is good.

I was using 3 extensions for my wifi throughout my house. With the Powerline AC1200 I plugged one in and connected it to my router source and plugged the other one in downstairs and connected it to an older router. Unplugged all the previously used extensions. My whole house, and patio, receive a strong wifi coverage. Easy to setup.

Was skeptical at first on how this would work in my metal shop, but I am pleasantly surprised and impressed. High frequency items like ultrasonic cleaning machines plugged into the same circuit seem to cause interference, but other than that it works great.

These little devices are so easy to install and they provide soooo much better throughput than wifi. The signal when watching a streaming movie NEVER drops out as it did for me with even a closely located wifi. These guys are reasonably priced and absolutely the way to go to hook up your streaming TV. Just make sure the TV has an ethernet input. I also attached my computer to one of these and downloads are now faster and more secure. Highly recommend this product!

Love this thing. Had a set at my previous house to extend our network connectivity to the tool shed in the backyard that runs on the same circuit. Use this in our current home to run wired Ethernet to the basement without the hassle of drilling, feeding cable, or other inconvenient methods of networking. I could easily attach a wireless access point to this and have full wifi coverage in an area that never gets wifi (and will probably do just that very soon).

I was a little skeptical that this solution would not provide good wired internet but I am happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised. For a standard cable connection of about 60 mbps straight from the modem, I was able to get about 40 mbps in an upstairs bedroom using the power line adapter. For me, that pretty decent and saves me from having to drill holes in the walls to run Cat-5/6.

I love powerline ethernet - use it in the house to connect streaming music speakers and NOT use wifi (too spotty). My older unit died hard and I bought these to replace one unit. Without having to do any configuration, I just plugged it in and it connected and is working fine. The protocol for powerline is the same for any device, so just plug and go.

I was reluctant to try these power line ethernet adapters but they have come a long way since the last time I tried them. Great thru put and great stability - I use them to connect to a Tablo near a window in the bedroom where our OTA antenna is located. They are able to stream OTA signal back to TV in our Living room with out interruption. I would recommend this to those who need internet in areas of their home that is not wired for such.
