EASY and it WORKS!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After spending $1,000 to get an "expert" to set up a network for my home - which NEVER worked properly - I decided there HAD to be a better way. So I went to Best Buy and got a great recommendation for this product, which took care of my problem in less than half an hour. Thank you!! I now have internet access throughout my house.

Kind of amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With these adapters, you can bypass the headache (and insecurity) of WiFi connectivity to your router or cable modem, or between 2 computers. (I haven't any idea whether additional adapters of this kind all network together on the same common network or establish their own links.) I've had tremendous difficulty getting a decent strength WiFi signal from one end of the house to another. I've tried repeaters, fancier 2- and 4-antenna routers, higher speed and much higher priced solutions, none offered the stability I've had with this unit. It's not totally perfect - depending on your house wiring, it can fail to connect. And long distances for signals to travel can affect its bandwidth also. So, I recommend it for when WiFi is just too weak or frustrating or unreliable for your continued use. Your problems may be solved using this unit instead. You may put an Ethernet switch on the receiving end and wire cables to various devices, if that's a suitable solution for you. Or use an Ethernet to WiFi adapter in the room for when the wireless device in question also lives in that same room.

Great it you don't have a Cat5 run.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am using this for another WiFi router in my bedroom. I bought this house used so I was not able to have Cat5 ran through the house like my place in Illinios. Found that this product provided great transmission speed and have not had any issues with it. Very easy to setup.

2nd Set and Love these
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wish that my house would have come with built in Ethernet, it however did not. However I have a new house that has decent wiring and therefore yields fairly good speeds (House is 2750 SQFT). When connected directly to router the 500G NIC card yields 498 from Uverse gigapower. When connected from the furthest plug in my house it drops to about 325, with a Ping of 5. Which is much better than any WiFi usb adapter that I have ever used.

Netgear WiFi extender
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This item was a lifesaver! I had to connect home office and the basement and didn’t want to use a 20 foot wire for VPN device, and this came in handy. This works well sometimes I have a little issue on connectivity but nothing that’s stops it from working; great product perfectly satisfied and would recommend.

Great for Gamers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Normally i would have the modem upstairs but no ine could get connected with the wifi. So i moved my modem downstairs and everyone was happy, except for Dad, the guy lagging on his PS4. I did some reasearch, bout this adapter and I'm back in the fight. Sort of speak. It works great and does everything it advertises.

Works B-E-A-utifully!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased for our LG smart TV in the living room, opposite side of the house and modem location. I’m checking my house and wireless signal, the TV distance and walls made the WiFi the weakest device in the house at 70dB for signal strength. Hooked this up and boom! Signal strength is low to mid 20’s dB and no issues with lag. For those interested, use an Android only app called WiFi analyzer; it helps with knowing signal strength (decibels) and knowing what neighbors use for their wireless channel. It can help in knowing the wireless atmosphere around you and help with adjusting signal strength in the home. Best Buy IT employee here, I work in the field managing stores and their infrastructure :)

Netgear product
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A Best Buy team member went out of his way to explain how this works and I guess it sends a Wi-Fi signal through the electrical wires in your. Honestly the best purchase I’ve made for my gaming setup.

What type of sorcery is this?! Awesome buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for ways to improve wireless connections in the dead spots of the house. I had tried range extenders and a new router, but neither did the job I needed. I tried these powerline extenders and I am extremely impressed. In the worst dead spot I was getting speeds of <2 Mbps over wifi... I added the powerline and put a separate router at the end. My speeds are constantly above 30Mbps now. Sometimes it takes the right tool, and this was it.

Great for weak Wifi spots
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this about 8 months ago to use with my PS4 in the living room that I use to stream movies from my PC, along with Netflix and online gaming. Before using this I would have buffering issues time to time. Since hooking up the powerline I have had no issues streaming. We have 60mbps download speeds from Time Warner, and with the powerline, the PS4 is in the 40mbps range, where on wifi it was only getting 2-3mbps
