Not bad...better than weak wi-fi signals

These work. I have a fairly large home spanning 3 levels. I couldn't quite get wi-fi range extenders to work due to outlets and walls, etc. These solved that issue and although they don't seem to reach the speeds that they tout, it works better than said extenders. I'm probably get more of these.

This is one of the best kept secrets in the realm of internet connectivity. quick on-the-fly hard-wire connection. so easy to set up. used it to set up a game counsol for my son in a room that didn't have an RJ45 jack and poor wifi.

If your modem isn't close enough to your device for a direct connect, this is the answer. Worked seamlessly. The only setup was pushing a security button on each connector within 2 minutes. Is it better than a direct ethernet connection? Don't know. Is it better than a wifi connection? Yes.

I think these units would work really well IF your working on the same electrical circuit. So, the premise to these devices is, plug one device into the wall AND your router and then somewhere else in your home plug in the wall and plug in another device to extend ethernet connectivity to. In my house I got 2-3 MB/s which is terrible compared to the 25-60 I get on my wireless network. My application was to extend my network to a dead zone where our son plays his xBox and the wifi is terrible. But because this particular area is on a different electrical circuit from where the Router is located the connection was VERY POOR. However, if I had the time to move the electrical outlet to the same electrical circuit as the router I think it would have worked fine. But if I were going to do that I'd just run a dedicated ethernet connection. Instead I returned these and purchased the NETGEAR - AC1200 Dual-Band Gigabit Wi-Fi Range Extender. I highly recommend the Dual-Band Gigabit WiFi Range extender! It has worked flawlessly and my son's speeds are as high as they would be anywhere else in the house.

In my spread out house, WIFI in every room is a challenge. I read the reviews. I talked to my smart friends. I found it at my favorite electronics store, Best Buy....I bought it. Once up and running it blew my older wifi unit away. Faster in every way. Stronger outside. Printer widget works the way my other one was supposed to but only intermittently did. I'm happy with the purchase, most definitely.

Works well to extend Ethernet to second wifi router at opposite end of 90 ft wide rancher. Occasionally retrains signal switching between red and green quality, but no noticeable network disruptions with over 20 attached devices (smart phones, tablets, laptops, security cameras, smart TVs) across local net.

Wasn't able to download You Tube or Netflix for our new Samsung smart tv after about a month. After talking to customer support we found out a power line adapter was needed. We bought this Netgear adapter and it was simple to install and works great. Just remember to set the tv from wireless to cable. Very satisfied.

This product was recommended by one of the Best Buy employee's in the store because my router was located on a different floor than my new 3D blue ray player which was not wireless. I did not buy at the time if the recommendation because I wanted input from my son who had given me the player. This item works very well and I can now watch Netflix on the second or third level of my house.

Needed to get a VOIP phone connected with no chance of running a cable to the location. Had an open power outlet and the Powerline devices we a snap to install. Been running for 2 months without issue. Have already recommended to a friend to get his gaming console off wireless for online play.

I was having the hardest time with a strong wifi connection.... who would've thought that this technology was out there... literally you power outlet also become an Ethernet line? Amazing and problem solved. Finding the best outlet is the only challenge and they could improve their manual a bit

Pretty good. I'm one of those who built my PC so my motherboard does not have Wifi capability, always need an ethernet cord. Since the coaxial cable is never in the room I want my PC in, I've always had to use one of these. It does the job, I have absolutely 0 problems with lag during games, or with voice connectivity. Buffering videos at 1080p is a little more difficult, but for the most part little no issues. The biggest issue is with the download speed. Download speed is significantly lower when this is connected via when it isn't. Games that normally take me about 5-15 minutes to download end up taking an hour or longer. Not a big deal, but it's expected with a solution like this.

Due to the wiring configuration of an older home I just purchased, I needed to resolve 'dead zone's between three levels. I read reviews that the Best Buy sales associate confirmed, so I purchased two starter kits. It solved the problem so much so that I decided to forgo the home rewiring project I thought I'd need.

So, I have a 2nd computer in my office that runs Linux. Could NOT get any wireless action to work. Plugged these bad boys in and just plugged in via RJ-45 and I have upwards of 80gig speeds. Amazing and so simple it's ridiculous. When you want to move on from trying to get a wireless connection to work and you have other stuff to get done, these are a no-brainer.

I purchased these to add wired internet for virtual schooling for my children as the wifi was not keeping up with all the video sessions. The setup was easy as I already had an existing PowerLine adapter in the house. I get consistent 68.xx download and 10.xx upload and everything runs much smoother.

This item is perfect if you just happen to have a computer without wifi. We have wifi, but had a computer without the ability to connect to it. We bought this in the store and it has solved all problems connecting to our wifi. You just plug into an outlet and it connects with the signal. You also have to have the modem plugged into an outlet in the house. Great buy for the price.

I had the AV500 and wanted to upgrade due to having to reset the AV500 frequently due to loss of connectivity. Since purchasing the Powerline 1200, I have not had any issues and the speed has been remarkable. You will never get close to the 1,200 Mbps, but it does a good job at about half that rate.

I never knew how slow my internet was before i got this product. In fact, i didn't know a product like this existed before i got it. My internet speed is much faster! No more dosing off waiting for a video or game to load. It's like magic: as soon as i click on something it's almost up and running in an instant.
