Extends Internet Coverage
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simple to set up. Since I have a large house with many areas of interference, my Wi-Fi router tended to leave dead spots. Now I can set up separate internet hubs at any part of the house by using the electrical wiring in my house.

So simple I wish I had done it sooner
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Early on in my project to remodel a room, I learned that I would need to reconsider my home networking layout in order to add a reliable network connection to this part of my house. Since I was gutting the whole room anyway, I played with the idea of running a dedicated network cable instead of relying on my wireless network signal because this room would house my media server. This meant I needed to relocate the wireless router closer to the room so that I did not have to run cable through the attic, which meant I needed to move the location of the modem, etc etc. What was supposed to be a simple addition to the project became a headache! I used to own old powerline adapters for land lines that I tried to use for a dial-up modem and I remember that being a nightmare in terms of reliability, so I was very resistant to buy a powerline adapter this time around. However, much of my research online showed me that the technology has changed a lot since the models from so many years ago. This model was within my price point and since my wireless router had a gigabit connection as did my motherboard, it made the most sense to get a gigabit powerline adapter. I'm sure glad I did! I do not experience any latency or connectivity or bottleneck issues on my desktop and media streams/ files transfer as if I was physically connected to the router itself! It was a breeze to use, as well, simply plug it in. Couldn't be happier!

Great video conferencing solution
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was the perfect solution to my video conferencing problems. I was able to set up a wired connection away from my modem. Easy to setup. No more screen freezing or poor connection messages when doing live video conferencing! Definitely would but again.

A fix to lousy wifi issues in a home
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was the second time that I purchased these. They help fix my gaming system wifi connection problems. While great for that, I do wish they could generate more speed through the electrical wiring in the house. Lag is sometimes a problem, versus a continuous problem.

Great all around
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this for a temporary hookup until I ran my router cat7 cable. It works so good, I didn't bother running anything. I didn't notice any loss in the wifi signal. I read a bunch of reviews about this product but I have had no trouble with it. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't have a good wifi signal to the other side of a house.

Works great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reading reviews about how intermittent these devices are, I wasn’t sure how well it would work. I located an outlet that appeared to be connected directly to the other outlet and can say with confidence that it’s been working flawlessly. My latency is much lower than WiFi and my speeds are maxed out.

No More Dead Zones!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to purchase for my at-home job. It’s great if you need to move your office anywhere in the house! Another benefit was that the wifi became stronger in the dead zones of my house. If you work from home, I would definitely recommend. It’s easy to set up and great for dead zones!

Highly recommend!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This item was exactly what I needed. I needed to connect a work device via ethernet cable to my home internet and Best Buy gave the perfect fix. Otherwise, I would have had a 60 ft. Plus I would have had a cable running down my hallway! Love this device and works perfectly!!

Nice unit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up. Ability to plug in a wired connection is a bonus. Only downside to most of these extenders is that it sets up a new wifi network. I have this unit plugged into the basement. My laptop and phone tends to jump back and forth between networks.

Great for old computer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an old computer in a distant room. No wifi on it. This worked great since my only cable connection was a couple rooms away. This works much better than running a fifty foot cable through the middle of the place. The connection speed isn't as good as a direct line to the router but it is still faster than my wifi connection on my other pc.

Works Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this because the wifi on my Directv DVR would not stay connected. This mimics a hard wired network and works well. Even though the WIFI and DVR are only about 15-20 feet apart, I would have had to run about 75 feet of network cable up and down walls, etc. This was very easy to set up and it works great. No holes, no snaking wires.

Ease setup and fast
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had never tried to use powerline networking gear before. I looked online at the various products and settled on this model. I could have gotten it a little cheaper at Amazon but decided to get it at Best Buy. Works great and very ease setup. I don't see any slowdown over this portion of my network.

decent patch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very easy way to use ethernet. I didn't even know it existed and has been around for a long time. It works okay but speeds can be spotty. It's a good temporary fix for the price, but I'd move up to a good wifi system like EERO for great speeds.
