Went into BestBuy to try to buy something to help with my sons lagging Xbox connection. Planned to try a range extender. Two great sales people sent me to this product and it has been a life saver. Connection has never been better and I don't have to listen to "I hate our WiFi" all nite anymore.

I use it for my smart TV which is about 45 feet away from my router and it does a very good job. No issues with 4K movies or any others. So far I am satisfied with this product.

This is a great option for someone that needs a reliable internet connection especially in a dead spot in your house. However, I could only get about 45 to 50 Mbps using this product. This is nowhere near the speeds advertised. This would be excellent for internet browsing or even streaming video. If you're looking for to play online games, this probably isn't going to be the best option for you. For the price, however, it is an option to consider for a stable internet connection.

I used this at my office to connect my LED to the network without using wifi or running a long cable. It connected easily and gives me a reliable connection. If you want similar speed to a wired connection without the physical wire, this is a solid solution.

The device was a little tricky to setup since the instructions were not very detailed but once connected it worked great. It increase the speed to our game console in a room with a typically weak signal.

This device was the answer to a problem that kept me awake for several nights! First, a little background. Last month I used this adapter to complete a security camera installation. My issue was that the camera Network Video Recorder (NVR) and switch are located in a closet clear across the house from my office where my computer and router are located. My home is two stories and my office has a bedroom above it so running Cat5E through the ceiling was impossible. I was close to admitting defeat and was ready to run the cable from the rear all the way up to the front of the house, on the outside (a thought that made me literally cringe) when I stumbled across this little gem! My problem was solved in an instant. The connection couldn’t be easier and so far it works amazingly well. My adapter connects an NVR to my router and transfers loads of data, almost non-stop and this adapter never misses a beat! If you're looking for a solution for running cable through pre-existing construction, look no further!

Works great. Need to make sure you are on the same power phase in your home wiring. Check your breaker box to make sure the router outlet and the receiving outlets are on breakers in the same side of you breaker box (assuming you have two columns of breakers)

Thought I would give this a try to see how this works. I have two devices at home that do not connect wirelessly. Didn't want to run cables, so I gave the Netgear 1200 a try. So far, it's working great. Speed is very good. Beats running cables throughout the house. Good purchase.

Lel's face it. Getting a great signal in some spots in a home is often a challenge and if it is for stream video, that signal is critical. This has worked outstanding for Smart TVs and players in our home. Thank you Netgear.

I have a weak internet connection in my house so i purchased this device. Setup was super easy and unlike another powerline ethernet adapter, this one didn't need the devices to be on the same circuit ( a good thing). But . . . when doing a speed test, the speed output is anywhere from 2-3x less than what the speed is at the router. . . which for some applications can be make or break. A good product (but does the job if maintaining speed is not an issue.

The Powerline 1200 does exactly what it is set out to do which is to use your home power line as an Ethernet replacement. The set up was quick and easy. This product works great with my internet system and saved me time from trying to run Ethernet cables throughout my home.
