Needed an Router upgrade. Thanks to Best Buy Associate whom recommended this product the NETGEAR Smart AC1600 Dual Band Wi-Fi 5 Router. It is true to it's description. I am very pleased with my router upgrade.

A little bit of struggle with set up, as cable company wasn't much help. The 4K streaming (why I got it in the first place) is excellent, both in flawless transmission and quality of picture and sound. Glad I did the upgrade.

This router works great. It make take a bit of effort and research to change the password...I did so because it's made in China and I was not fond of the idea of allowing a back door to the data going through the router.

Would of like an easier set up with my modem,because I bought them together and it took 35min to set up. I believe that takes to long. Also the manufacturer warranty should be longer on these items

I giving this 5 stars because this is a quilty company but I did have to return it due to issues with the internet company. I returned for a Netgear modem/router.

Can’t go wrong with Netgear, good router for a good price; I have a desktop, 2 laptops, and 2 phones hitting the wireless and this thing handles all the traffic with ease.

This has been a great router. It works pretty great and the fact that you can control it with an app is the cherry on top. It’s good for a small size apartment.

Over all so far so good now that I got the thing hooked up right. Not as easy as said. It it tucked away behind my screen and seems to be fine. I like the tall thin ones as they take up less room, but did find a spot for it that works.

We are running 2 tvs (1 hd and 1 4k), 2 phones, 1 tablet, 2 laptops, a thermostat, and wireless printer perfectly with this router. Also some gaming (World of Tanks), but I am not streaming my gameplay.

I was having range issues, so I picked up this router. It seems to have cleared up the problem I was having. It was also easy to set up.

If you’re looking for a router that is just great all around without breaking the budget you’re looking at the right one right here right now.

Good product, haven’t had any problems which I’m thankful for. This was my first time buying my own router I usually rent one from the cable company. Glad I did it. Money well spent.

Bought this for our office. Just standard internet service. It improved our connection speeds and reliability. We have about 5 devices connected at a time and have no drop outs

When I had my older router, streaming would cut out and reboot. With this newer router, I have less interruptions and can watch my programs with less inconvenience and frustrated moments.

Bought this last year and until now, this router hasn't given me any problems! It's stable and good quality. This is a great buy!

So far has worked well although as xfinity tries to get me to increase my speed it seems I have more trouble with getting wireless upstairs

Love this wireless router. Easy to install and setup. Has a great app with it too for controlling things with it. I have zero complaints
