I had purchased a Linksys product before I purchased Netgear. I returned the Linksys product because it did not play friendly with Mac products and was difficult to setup even with the help of Linksys customer service. The Netgear item didn't take long to setup and was in working order within an hour. I used ethernet cable to connect a AV Receiver, BluRay, and TV. No problems connecting to my extended WiFi. It just works!

My Brighthouse wifi would not perform very well or sometimes at all out in the screen cage. The extender took care of the problem. Service is great out there now.

The product was very easy to setup and configure. It may have taken more time to unpack and plug in than getting it ready to handle the connectivity for the items in the house with current wi-fi could not reach. The product does not seem to require rebooting which the previous one needed weekly (on low use weeks). Very happy with it.

Selected this extender based on currently using a N600 router. The 2.4G works perfectly. Do not always get a good connection to the 5G. I assume this is caused by signal obstruction in walls of my home. For what ever reason, I had an issue with setup. This was quickly resolved thru contacting Netgear. Given all of this I will still select Netgear again if I have a need for their products.

I needed to extend the range of my router when I got my smart tv. This Netgear range extender has done the job at a reasonable price. It was also easy to set up.

We bought the extender and so far, so good! It was easy to install and set up. And it works great when the wifi doesn't want to reach all corners of the house.
If possible, it does work better when plugged directly into a cat-5 port and it's much easier to set up.
But setting it up via wireless isn't hard either; I just found that I was able to place it in a less obvious spot when I connected via cat-5.

If you want a device that sets up in minutes and does what it claims to do, this is it. My family claimed that our wifi signal was slow and weak, not anymore.

This is a good product for the price. Not sure if it's the main internet or this device but it does drop connection at times and I reset the power strip it's on and my ps4 internet begins to run fine again. Other then that provides a strong signal in the room it is in.

This has been the easiest install for the 3 extenders I've tried and the only one to actually work well.
Every now and then the connection will drop for 10 seconds and it will reconnect on its own.
Speed is good but the setup is the real win about this item.

I bought this to get internet into the back room of my apartment, as this is where I have my XBOX. There's something like 3 walls between my main router and the extender, and the extender is still able to amplify full reception. I plug my XBOX into one of the ethernet ports and I have no problem streaming movies and playing online games.
My phone even does not connect to the wi-fi from the main router when I'm in the back room, but this extender solves that too.
Setup was very easy. I just had to press a button on the router and then one on the extender, and they paired to each other (not all routers support this so you may have a different setup procedure)
Would definitely recommend.

I am living in a 6 bedroom house and sometimes I got weak signal in the garage or at some corners on the second floor. My main wireless modem is at the first floor center of the house. After installing the extender, I got coverage even outside my house. Quite reliable in terms of performance and good price.
