Reliable and good value for its price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am living in a 6 bedroom house and sometimes I got weak signal in the garage or at some corners on the second floor. My main wireless modem is at the first floor center of the house. After installing the extender, I got coverage even outside my house. Quite reliable in terms of performance and good price.

Great way to extend wifi to dead spots
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product works great, i bought it because my router was upstairs next to my computer and downstairs on the other side of my house the wifi signal was weak. After i set it up downstairs at midpoint location I now have a strong wifi signal downstairs.

Life Saving!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After learning that the only internet worth anything in our area was through the cable company, we decided to try this rather than purchase a second internet access for our detached office and non-wireless computers. It boosted the signal throughout the entire buildibg and provided us with 4 LAN access points!! Literally, it saved us hundreds if dollars!

Extended my wireless range to cover dead spots
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to get onto my home network, does a nice job covering up some dead spots and extending range. Wish my hardware would just automatically find the best connection, but when signal drops or is weak, I need to seek new connection. Maybe it's not the adapter that needs to do the switching, but I had hoped it would act like when my phone just switches towers as I travel.

WiFi extender
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy setup and works better than expected! This Netgear extender is setup inside a metal building about 75' from the WiFi router in another building and picks up a strong signal and rebroadcasts through out a larger part of the arena building than was expected! Good Buy Great Price and would Buy again if needed!

Best Range Extender I have ever owned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I now own 4 of these. They are fabulous !!! The easiest setup I have ever seen. It works best if you have a Netgear regular Router in the first place. The distance and signal strength is excellent !!! There does not appear to be any down time. I use one of these on the dock at my lake home and it works excellent. I am able to conduct work while sitting on my boat !!!!

Decent product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my mothers home, she has connectivity issues with mobile devices in certain parts of her house. So far it works alright, occasionally disconnecting. However I may just not be around enough to notice what the actual issue is. I would say it is worth the price.

Great product. Allows signal to extend easily
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Out of the Box takes about 10 minutes to install. Easily pairs up with the wireless router. Performs very well. My house is large and the comcast router was intermittent in some of the farthest rooms. It also works outside very nicely. It's a must for any wireless household. I love my gadgets and this only improves my experience and interaction with them.

Does the job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an X-Box 360 that did not come with wireless built in. I decided to go with this unit because a wireless adapter would only give me internet service on my X-Box, but I have other devices in my bedroom that are not wireless. This does the job. It has a wireless repeater and will bridge my wireless network to a wired subnetwork. Very handy and was very easy to set up. However, when you set something up like this, you take a speed hit. You are better off connecting into a wireless network directly. The signal level is not that great, it is a wireless g standard not a wireless n standard. If you are in a situation like me, have a wireless network, and only one floor wired, you really need this. It does the job. However, the connection and speed issues prevent me from giving this a 5 star rating.
