I followed the included directions to set up the wifi extender and had it working in minutes. I've had no trouble with this extender. Two things: 1) If you have a lot of signal trouble in your house with thick walls and interference, I would suggest an extender that has external antennas for more reliability. I don't have an issue with this, but I could see it being a problem for some. It all depends on the size of your home, number of floors, and how far it needs to go. 2) The extender is technically a different SSID (wifi name), which usually says "-ext". So you do have to switch between your original wifi router source and select the "-ext" if you're having connection issues. There are new products now that can follow your device and decide which signal you are closest to and autoconnect to that source (essentially you only have 1 SSID name & password to input on your device, but the wifi signal follows you to keep your signal strong), but unfortunately that is not how this extender works.

I have a smart tv in my media room but I was always experiencing wifi signal issues. I decided to give this range extender a shot and it works perfectly. No more interruptions due to signal loss.

Previously had problems watching Netflix. This product was the cure. Netflix video now is smooth without any buffering.

We spent a lot of time with staff in store. Our problem was that our Internet failed to reach us upstairs which was very frustrating. It was difficult to decide whether to go for 'AC' style or remain with 'N' style. It suited us to remain with the style we have and this unit really does the business! We had to spend time trying to 'pair' it, and eventually did it via the computer, which was really easy. Now 'paired' it works a treat.

I bought this for a part of my house that I couldn't install a router. My smart tv was struggling with the wifi connection and need a boost. I hooked this up and connected to the tv via Ethernet and no problems since then. The general wifi it creates is nice but I don't really use it for anything.

Purchased this to extend out home wifi out to our pool area. Initial setup was a little difficult, as customer service gave us two different answers to the same question. However, once that issue was fixed, it has worked better than we imagined. Secure wifi anywhere in our house or backyard for music, video, etc.

I had a problem using my Amazon Firestick in my home. I would constantly lose my WIFI connection in the middle of watching a movie. I found out that the signal from my neighbor's unsecured Xfinity was stronger that my home signal and the Firestick would try to connect to his WIFI in the middle of a movie. The Netgear dual range extender solved the problem. The dual range is great also. So now I have my original plus two more WIFI connections.

The NETGEAR Range Extender has greatly improved access to the interwebs as Maison du Moore. All our dead zones now enjoy full, connected life. Highly recommended product.

I bought this product to increase the internet speed to watch movies in a room that is located far from my internet modem and it works great.

I had never used a range extender before this and this one had decent results in my large 3200 sq. ft home.

While I haven't been able to get rid of all the bugs in the setup, I cannot get over how it actually works and really does extend my wifi so that I can now watch Neflix and Amazon without losing my picture to buffering. It used to take an hour and a half to watch a 45 minute program. This is really great!

No sure how far this extends the WiFi but please let me know who has one and how it works

For years I went back and forth with the cable company about the poor internet connection on the other side of the house. Finally a tech told us about getting a range extender to fix the problem. Heaven bless that great man for finally sending us in the right direction. A quick trip to Best Buy and my troubles were over. This was easy to set up and communicate with all my devices. Speeds are finally at what I'm paying for. Can't say anything bad about this device.

Needed to increase the WIFI signal in my home. Base was on second level, installed this expander in the family room on the first level. Strength of signal and speed of WIFI increased immediately and prevented kick in of 4G data plan downloads!

I needed something to extend my wifi range. This product did exactly what I wanted it to do. Not as easily set up and connected as indicated, but after several attempts, it works great.
