Fills a dead spot in my house, so I can do work on my Surface tablet in any room of the house with pretty good speed. I was limited outside of my home office with a noticeable drop off in speed if I took the tablet out to the deck or an upstairs bedroom. Now I can work from my lanai if I want to.

Purchased this to expand my WiFi network in my 2600sf home to make it more Smart Home ready. Enabling me to connect numerous wifi ready devices to the internet. It's been a flawless upgrade.

Me and my family get great wireless signal throughout our big house, great product.

We have no problem getting internet in the house with our original NetGear router however it was spotty in the back yard/screen porch. With this extender we now have 5 bars in the screen porch. Needless to say I now drink my coffee on the porch every morning whilel reading through my emails.

I was going crazy our router wouldn't reach the other end of the house. Every time I would go online after a minute had no connection . We tried this and FINALLY it works. Both husband and I are able to use our tablet and computer at the same time with no problem. Love it.

We just put an addition to our house and buying an extender seemed the easiest way to get wi-fi in a larger house- the new Samsung refrigerator also needs a wifi connection! DIY and no need to call guys to do the job. Very convenient - no messy wires and works really well.

I wasn't sure at first that this was the right purchase for me to accomplish my goal of being able utilize my WiFi enabled devices in all areas of my residence, however after doing my research and purchasing this unit I am pleased with the results. No more dead spots!!!!!

Some might get confused and believe that it simply picks up and relays the wifi signal with full strength. That isn't quite exactly what is happening. It is placed within a good signal of your existing Wifi then (after configuration prior to final placement) it generates a new signal under a new wifi name (eg Bluebeard Wifi would become Bluebeard_ext Wifi). This is no problem if your devices are easily configured to any wifi signal. However if configuring devices such as security cameras is required, you have to remove from the various locations throughout the house and go through a large effort to configure to look for the new Wifi source signal (new name)

Using in computer room for working on others computers. No network connections in room, so this connects to my wireless and provides 4 wired ports.

Bought this so WiFi worked better for sons gaming on 2nd floor of house and helped immensely!

Remember it boosts the signal sent to it, not increase the signal. So long as it is recovering a good signal works well. I haven't had any issues and wi-if everywhere in the house!

While the set up was very easy and I get good to excellent coverage with the booster in my home I don't notice a huge difference in the quality of my wifi quality with the device.

I used this to extend my WiFi Range when I bought an outdoor Nest camera. At first, the camera would not work but now it has a strong signal. Also extended signal to my Samsung TV as well. All items bought at Best Buy. Netgear is reliable and easy to set up.
