I have yet to have a glitch on this thing. 4 ports I can use without running wire. I don't use it as a Wi-Fi extender.

Have Comcast cable, but put a tv into a bedroom across the house far from my Comcast box. Put this thing in the Middle of the house and now I don't get load screens

It’s ok. I’m having a little trouble connecting the 2.5. Will work on it again.

I bought this wifi extender as my office is in the basement of my house and the main router is on the first floor. Also, we just bought a smart tv in the basement that uses wifi to give us other contents besides regular channels. So, I wanted to make sure that my wifi signals were adequate and would satisfy our demands in the basement. This extender does that and in fact, it gave us two bands to connect to - 2.4 and 5.8 I believe. Now, we have strong signals in the basement where we do spend a lot of time on our cell phones, tablets, computers, wifi printer, and now the smart TV. Great buy for the price.

Great product, setup was a breeze and it paired with all devices almost immediately. The unit takes up very little space and is attractive to look at. I would recommend this to everyone.

I wanted to boost my wireless signal. This product did the trick. I can now get wireless in several sitting areas in my yard. Coverage over the complete house is great. Definately reccomend.

It doesn't reach as far as I had hoped. I even had it 25ft away from router and clear line of site the signal for 5G keeps dropping out.

It was easy to setup snf forget about it. This is all you need from a good tech tool.

Installation was typical for a router. I used the computer prompts. It was quick and easy, and now I have 4 bars 3 stories above the wifi router. 5 bars 2 stories above the wifi router....

Overall the product is okay, but some of the Video still depends on your main Wireless router. Need to upgrade that 1st before extending.

I was having wireless performance and frequent connection problems with my Samsung Smart TV so I went to Best Buy to discuss possible causes. It was recommended that I try a WiFi Range Extender and, if possible, connect it directly to the Smart TV. I did follow Best Buy's recommendation and connected the WiFi extender to the TV using a LAN cable. Since installing the WiFi Range Extender my performance and connection problems are a thing of the past. Thank you Best Buy!

We got this to replace one that was not keeping up with our needs for gaming and bought this one to replace. It didn't work any better.

This product works well as a range extender. You can connextend directly to it via the default IP address (I think it's 192.168.1.255) to avoid installing software.

Extended signal not as strong as expected. Sometimes intermittent. But does extend coverage in my house.

The Netgear works great for the shop. My husband would not be able to have his computer out there with out it. I feel it was the best brand to purchase.
