Excellent Range Extender for Netflix
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I sought a range extender because my DVD player on the first floor of my home could not get a strong enough Wi-Fi signal to operate Netflix with my router on the 2nd floor. The great thing about this particular model was that it operates on both 2.40 GHz and 5 GHz. Even though my current internet provider only operates on 2.40 GHz, this product is ready in case they upgrade to 5 GHz. The next lower level Netgear range extender with only 2.40 GHz was $20 less, which would have sufficed for now but not in the future. So the extra $20 for this model was worth it in case of an upgrade in my internet service or if I change internet providers.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i originally bought this to try and deal with problems i was having with my service and realized the issue was not the modem but rather the provider. when i switched providers they gave me an excellent modem for free so returned this one. it did seem to do the job before i switched it out but i can't comment on it over time hence the 4 star rather than a 5 star rating and also why i would not recommend it to a friend.

Great router booster!
