||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.in my new 1750 foot square home, I needed a wifi extender because the walls are so dense and thick. this works well but there are two different WiFi networks, 2EXT and 5EXT. the signal bounces back and forth between the two depending on which is stronger and sometimes knocks me off my laptop repeatedly until it finds the right network.

It works as advertised...

It sends a much stronger signal to my internet radio at the far end of our home. This signal put out by this is a bit "slower" than that of the main router but it is still plenty fast. That would be the ONLY reason I give it 4 Stars instead of 5.

Also sometimes need to reboot to make the extender work again. Maybe I need to update the firmware? Didn't try that cause I'm lazy. But over all this is a good extender. I like it.

The setup was as I read very simple but not simple in practice. The setup instructions leave out information that they assume is common knowledge .
