We could not get WiFi on the lower level of my High Line Wide Ranch, even with the top of the line Routers. The Netgear Extender brought WiFi to the whole lower level of my house, and now we can connect on the computer and the xbox without any problems. It was easy to connect, customer service walked me thru the setup, quick and easy. Love it!!

Works great for what we needed, glad there was finally a tech available to help me figure out what to buy (Best Buy typically never has enough customer service reps on the floor). The tech in this case was excellent, I would have bought more than what I needed because of lack of product knowledge. Good job!

SET UP, INSTALL ATION AND OPERATION WAS ALL QUICK AND EASY.

This range extender allowed me to get wireless Internet service throughout my entire House. I had tried different Internet service providers including cable and had purchased a much better router but still could not get service throughout my entire house. Now I can get service in my basement and on the third floor with no problem. Very pleased.

Our wireless router was installed in the basement in a utility room. Reception on the first floor of the house was spotty at the opposite end of the house. Reception was non-existent on the second floor of the house. had hoped for good to excellent coverage on the first floor using the range extender device. Also hoped for good coverage on second floor of house when range extender was placed in a closet on the first floor of the house. Reception was better on first floor of house. Still not as good as I would have expected. Second floor of house has spotty reception. Had hoped for better reception on second floor.

Runs fast, can use many devices and doesn't slow down much.

I purchased this with the hope of improving WiFi access throughout the house. Works like a charm! The initial set-up was a little tricky, and the instructions and web support were not helpful. However, once I figured out that the default password input is not the correct one and was able to select the WEP password input, the rest was easy.

The extender did what it promised. My upstairs couldn't be reached on the Wi-Fi and now it can. Has a couple of dead zones and will sometimes drop bars, but other than that it works well

Bought this to extend my wireless router. I live in a quad level home with my router in the basement. The wireless signal in the home was horrible. We couldn't get a strong signal to our cell phones, computers or TV to be able to stream Netflix. What a difference.... We have full signal in every room in the house. Worth every penny.

This is a very good extender & I purchased primarily because I had owned a Netgear previously but it would only extend 2.4 and this is the one the sales rep recommended for what I need.

We have an older home with thick walls and our wireless router (att uverse) wasn't able to send a strong enough signal to the front of the house. We couldn't use our ipad, or laptop unless we were in the back of the house. This extender fixed all of that. We can stream video's, listen to music in any part of the house with no problem!

It is ok once you get the settings correct. Specifically, take it off of auto channel if you are using two of the bands because they will conflict causing your computer to reboot

It works great to enhance the wireless signal reach plus the conversion backwards from wireless to wired connection in other room. Conversion back to wired from wireless was my main need and it works very well for that and also has helped increase the wireless signal in other rooms. great product...

I would recommend this its really fast and worth it.

I did research similar products and went to Best Buy looking for a less expensive product but this one was suggested as the other was unavailable.
