    Alright product for average speeds

I have 90Mbps speeds, and the range extender although halves the speed, did not meet my expectations of at least 35 Mbps.

This device is difficult to set up because it does not configure as the included document state. It has limited features and range.

Works as advertised. I'm using it on second floor, modem router is on first floor. Signal strength is not great but works most of the time.

About this thinking it would make a difference in my Wi-Fi connection but I really haven't noticed much change.

    not compatible with Linksys gear

according to the instructions, the setup is very simple. however, if you have Linksys or Cisco wireless equipment, it will not pair with your device (at least it would not pair with either of my wireless routers). I first tried to pair it with my Cisco wireless router which completely failed. the unit would see signal from my router and the software could see the extender, but even extremely close to each other it would error out with an out of range message. I returned and exchanged it for another thinking that it was defective but the replacement did the same thing. so i dug out my older Linksys WRT54G and tried to pair it with that unit (even though it wasn't an N router). it did gave the same error. the wireless signal was very strong but even in the same room it was never 100%. I returned it and exchanged it for a Linksys N300 unit which paired immediately with my Cisco router (although it's range is not quite as good as the specs for the Netgear, at least it worked).

We have a large house with several pieces of equipment needing wifi. This item is not capable of handling the job and is a pin to set up.

Have not noticed a significant change with its use. It helped with our cell picking up the signal so on that part it did it's job.

Works great in about a 20 ft range, kind of expected more for the money. Next time I'll do some more research before buying.

I will be return ing getting the other unit, I believe it was the thing for our wifi/router. But it would not re-set to factory setting like it suppose to do. It would show our wifi, but would not communicate with it once it was set up. Attempted to install at least 5 times (which is very easy when it works), each time I would reset, but it wouldn't delete the wifi it had already "dicovered".
