We had a dead spot in the back of the house plugged this into the wall and set up the conection on my iPad. Nothin to it!

I bought this because the Internet in my house wouldn't reach my room strong enough for me to get on xbox live. After plugging this in I can get perfect signal and hardly any lagging.

Not bad, just be aware that it's not generally designed to work with streaming/casting devices like chromecast

Would definitely recommend this product; our office is in the far corner of the house with concrete walls and our router could not produce a strong enough signal to reach the other end of the house; now we can use our tablet and laptop all over the house with no issues; our Smart TV also can get a strong signal. This product is great!

The Netgear - Universal Wi-fi Range Extender With Ethernet Port - White works as advertised and is easy to configure. It took me about 10 minutes from opening the box to getting the chromecasts streaming in the upstairs bedrooms. No lag and no buffering experienced with 6 devices connected and streaming.

This wi-fi extender is a great deal for the price if you just need to improve few dead spots in the house, in my case, the living room where the internet was having delays. As a starter extender it works decently, but for higher usage I'd probably buy an extender with more features.

This did the job for me I can now stream my devices with no problem I can even go to the middle of my back yard and get my wifi signal. I would recommend this wifi extender to anyone.

Needed a way to extend the wifi to support our security camera outside and this worked really well. The camera never disconnects anymore and the main network seems to be slightly stronger now too. Did not expect it to have these results tbh so I'm pretty happy

Unit connected odd "L" shaped distance to other office flawlessly. Mount high on wall away from any microwaves / metal.

Needed this extender for a back bedroom, where the house Wi-Fi was slow and intermittent. This did the trick. Set up was super easy. Been about 30 days and I have not had to mess with or reset it. Speed is somewhat slower than being in the same room with the main router (about 10 Mbps slower down and 5 up). Also this extender requires you to connect to an extended version of your network (a ".ext" with the same passwords), which can be a drag if you move in an out of the range of your main network (I have to manually switch networks). Also, I'm not a gamer, but for normal web surfing/streaming music and video, it works great for the price.

WiFi extender works exactly as advertised. Able to stream movies and videos outside without having to move modem.

Wireless router was installed downstairs and this product boosted the signal for the further reaching upstairs rooms. Very easy install and easy to use.

I think this has improved our signal upstairs. Sometimes the internet doesn't come over - even though it says we have an excellent signal. For the money I think it was a decent buy.

Need help to extend the Wifi in our house. It has done exactly what we needed and we haven't dropped the signal.

I hooked it up in just a few minutes, and right away had our home WIFI network extended to the basement and backyard.

Have to say this Netgear WiFi extender did exactly what I needed it to do. I couldn't get the auto set up to work but followed directions to set it up with a laptop and was working in a couple minutes...very easy. Plugged it in and finally my son has Xbox live in the bonus room! Haven't touched it since I plugged it in...works great.
