The WiFi Extender required utilization of technical assistant for installation & activation of device. Then, further assistance was required to "re-activate" device when it just unexpectedly stopped working.

I have a Netgear router so I bought this one after seeing so many positive reviews. I plugged it into a wall outlet in the kitchen and used a cable to connect in from my laptop. Got it setup and running in less than 5 minutes and now have full bars at the other end of the house. The only reason I gave it a lower rating on ease of use is because the address they give you, in the manual and online, do not work. I wanted to see the settings after it was up and running and so far no luck. I think I'm going to have to use a cable whenever I want to look at those. But it has been running constantly since it was plugged in, no drops, no loss of signal, everything runs great. Laptops, Xbox, my TV (streams movies!) - everything.

My wifi reception in the lower part of my house has improved vastly since I bought this for my mom/grandmom.

Easy to install, reaches good signal and good size

I had problems with my router and the size of the house. I was thing about getting a new router but this extender solved the problem. Easy to install. The extended connects to your router wireless and functions as a second router when needed.

Router was upstairs, it was easy to connect and get up in running. Had no issues, only reason I returned it was I got one similar item as a gift about a week later.

Replaced router, then in my basement wifi signal strength was almost none. Purchased this product, set it up in about 10 minutes, and now I enjoy the maximum strength of the signal like never before. Easiest set-up of any electronic item that I have ever purchased. Great buy!!

This wifi extender is really great. It extends my range as much as 300 feet and is really easy to set up.

I've had this extender for about 2 weeks now. I used to have difficulty picking up my wifi on the 2nd floor at the opposite end of the house as well as out on the back deck. Not any more! I installed this on the 1st floor at the other end of the house and it's worked great since!

Our modem is in the basement in my office. We were having difficulty maintaining a strong signal on the 2nd floor of our house. Now that we have the Wi-Fi extender we are not having any problems.

It was a quick and easy install. You connect to it with your computer, and then it walks you through connecting to your current WiFi signal. Hassle free out of the box.

Got a wifi booster and installed it half way down the house. Now have great wifi through out the house.

We previously had trouble downstairs in our basement with WiFi. We could barely use it downstairs. Now that we have the range extender we have no problems whatsoever.

This was an open box purchase. The extender worked great and was a cinch to set up. Great price, great deal.

We purchased this to extend our WiFi outside of our house. Installation wasn’t as easy as we thought. We haven’t noticed much of a difference. In fairness, I haven’t followed up with Best Buy for advice.

This extender works well and lets you know, by two LED's, that you have a good signal and that your device is connected to the extender device. I don't like the fact that it creates a second or extension of our existing WiFi signal name and you have sign onto it the first time. I found out later that the Cisco brand doesn't create a second signal name.

This product from NetGear is so much better than the last product which it replaced due to it's poor reliability. It has boosted the signal everywhere in the house. Plus I have never lost connection to the main router ever since buying this product (which used to happen before). I highly recommend this product.

I was sceptical about this device. However it works as advertised keeping the signal strong at the farther end of the signals reach.

I bought this to extend the wireless signal upstairs and it has helped me significantly with dead spots. For the price it was worth it
