The Netgear was recommended by Consumer Reports. Our Roku didn't work for our one of our 2 TV's as it was too far away from our moniter. The extender was easy to install and works superbly.

Needed this to use on a Smart TV, which internal wifi card quit working. Much more cost effective than paying $200+ for the part & labor to have the TV fixed. Just plugged into the Ethernet port on the back of the tv & presto, it works again to access my apps.

I purchased this extender because our house is large and I had spotty access in the upper floor. This worked as described and is good or better than a previous higher priced one we tried before. I would definitely purchase this again.

I have a duplex, so my cable modem is on bottom floor but I (and guests) use upstairs often since it has living room and kitchen. Time Warner Cable told me getting this booster was best option to get better coverage in different floor, and so far I've found that to be very true.

Great buy for the money. We have a fairly large house with many dead spots so I plugged this in as far away as I could from the router downstairs and lo and behold it delivers wifi to our former dead spots upstairs. One con, had to spend a couple of hours on the phone with India for set up.

Router is on second floor on west end of large house. I had a poor signal strength and many dropouts on east end of first floor where I like to sit by the fireplace and surf. Installed Net Gear WIFI extender in middle and now have strong signal and excellent performance. Very happy.

I bought this for the garage so our ring camera would have better wifi connection. It works well and our wifi connection in other parts of the house sometimes would even switch to the “_ext”. I unplugged it a while ago because I suspected some hacking going around, forgot to plug it back in and the ring camera still works just fine, so we may have not needed it in the first place. Hm.

We already had a Wi-Fi hotspot in our 2nd floor, but needed to extend it to the attic. This little gadget did the trick for us. It did take moving it around to the correct corner of the room to make it work.

This is advertised as a wifi extender but I would not recommend this as an extender because it only does one band at 2.4 GHz. For a few dollars more get the upgraded unit which is dual band the performance will be much better. It does have a single ethernet port which is perfect for IOT devices which need to be hardwired but also can't be near your router. For a few dollars you can make those devices mobile.

I purchased this to boost my wireless internet signal for streaming in the back bedroom. It works perfectly and it extends to my workshop another 100 feet away. I recommend this if you are looking for a good product at a great price point.

I can now use internet in my garage that is 80 feet from my house where wireless router is.
