Modem is downstairs and computers for school and work are upstairs. This was exactly what I needed to use an Ethernet cord upstairs. I bought 2 I just need one more!

Installation was a beast. I had to call tech support to help with the installation, and I consider myself at least a little tech savvy. The signal was not always super reliable. In all fairness, that could have been a problem with the original signal. It does extend the signal - the signal was extended further than the original router's signal - but it definitely doesn't really boost the speed at all, so don't buy this if that's what you're looking for.

Very easy to setup ( I used a Amped router as main router). My daughter finally can enjoy internet in their bedroom without breaks.

Sometimes it doesn't work perfectly because I'm in the city, but overall pretty solid!

Worked just like it says. Set up was simple. I needed more wifi coverage downstairs away from my modem and this product took care of the missing signals.

This little extender did the trick. We couldn’t get wi-fi in the far corner of our upstairs bedroom. I installed this extender in the next door bedroom and the problem was solved.

Purchase this item to "boost" my wireless signal to the upstairs bedrooms in a 1 and a half story house. Signal is still weak upstairs, only slightly better than it was without it....

We were unable to get WIFI in this far awAy place.we do now.

Just purchased this unit to extend my Wi-Fi coverage at home. Easy to install and works well.

I purchased this because we sit out in the back yard a lot with our tablets and the wifi would go in and out. Since adding this we are able to get awesome service. Have not dropped the wifi at all. Very happy with this product.

netgear wi-fi range extender was very easy to set up.Can now get my wi-fi in my garage that i was not able to before.

I had weak internet in my house untill I bought this product.

It works great in our home since we have a radiant barrier roof which impairs our internet signal. Have it in the middle of house and able to use internet on opposite end of house away from the main gateway box and get great signal for phones and iPads.
