This little product is super simple to setup with WPS and covers the dead spots in your home or small business. Lights go from green-yellow-red to show signal strength in and out. Also replicates ethernet.

Purchased this unit for my Dad who had a dead spot in the corner of his office causing his printer to print intermittently. Had to utilize the web setup but process was simple with no issues. Problem solved!

The BluRay player I wanted didn't have WiFi, plus I wanted Ethernet for some basement applications. This WiFi Range Extender with Ethernet Port solved both problems and everything runs quickly.

This doesn’t always hold my connection, but for the most part it works well.

Second Xbox upstairs. Set this up....on wireless Xbox pulled @6 of my 20 meg. After plugging this in upstairs and connecting console to it's wired port with a short Ethernet cable, pulls @11 to 12 meg now.

Read the reviews of all range finders. Bought this NetGear model because it was inexpensive to see if it would work - It does. I am very pleased that it provides coverage throughout my house with no gaps.

A relative was having connection issues in their basement where their laptop was located on the opposite side of where their router was one floor above. I purchased this item hoping to improve their connection and it has definitely helped. While it does not increase speed, it provides a stable connection (almost full bars) whereas previously they would drop connection every few minutes. For setup I temporarily connected my laptop through an ethernet cable and completed the web interface setup after plugging in the extender. You have the option of keeping the same password as the existing wifi connection that is being extended which simplifies things. Happy with the extender and would likely purchase again.

Great item if you know the Wi-Fi security key. Once installed it works like a charm.

We required a little extra 'ummfff' from our WIFI during the work at home and this little device meets the needs. With competing conference calls, one of us can now go to the other end of the house from our home office and work without disturbing the other. Probably could have gotten a better one for a lot more money, but this little product suits the needs well.

i was skeptical abt buying this one but tried it out and what a relief to extended my wifi range from basement level to 2 nd floor also work outside around my home thank u bestbuy for having it on sale !

Netgear understands that for technology to be adopted, it needs to be easy to understand and deploy. This is so much easier to install than all other solutions I investigated/tried. And it simply works!

It does what is supposed to do. Set up was very easy and I used it connect to a wireless network and hardwire a CCTV Security System in order to access the cameras on the go.
