It extends the wifi sure, set up was pretty simple, but I just never bother with it. Setting it back up is a pain. Decent for the price.

Seems to fill in the poor wifi spots in my house ok.

Once I was able to set up the device, it ran well even through a power outage (after the power recovered).

For the price, it gets the job done. May need to place it where walls are not thick. It's universal so it works with any wifi router, but make sure it's dual band. On that note: if on a budget to extend wifi, grab it.

Plugged it in. Turned on computer. Voilà connection! Instructions clear and simple. All previously dicey connections now really good. A simple, cheap solution for a major headache.

Extender is fairly simple to setup and provides us with upstairs access to our home network

The distance and strength of this range extender is weaker than I had hoped for. Our home is only a 2800 square foot single level. We are using a new strong Netgear Router (AC1750 R6400 Dual Band), with a new Netgear Cable Modem (CM500) and a new Netgear PowerLine Wi-Fi 1000 Point w/Adapter (PLW1000 Dual Band).I added this Netgear Wi-Fi Range Extender (WN3000RP) to further extend the distance of our 2.4GHZ signal into our two dead spot bedrooms. The signal is sporadically reaching the two bedrooms but it is so weak and inconsistent that our wireless devices are continually losing its wi-fi connections. Don't waste your money, on this, if you need a significant range extension. I will be returning this item. I had really hoped to save some money with my purchase and use of this WN3000RP ($35 vs. $67) but it appears that I now have to bite the bullet and purchase an additional PLW1000 Dual Band Range Extender. The Netgear PowerLine Wi-Fi 1000 Point w/Adapter (PLW1000 Dual Band Range Extender) is almost twice the price but has proven to be a worthwhile investment because it has done a good job of resolving some of the other dead spots in and around our house.

This wifi extender works way better than I thought it would. Plus you have the option to turn it into an access point.which I think works wonderfully. Definitely recommend.

If you have any areas within your home that you don’t have wifi, this extender will end that. No more issues with not having wifi when needed. I highly recommend this product

I have DSL Internet yes old school ,but what is available. Dramatic improvement in coverage for my house. Did not need to spend big money on the newer technology .

Use it to provide coverage upstairs in apartment where signal steak. The ability to turn on and off allows me tu save energy when I am not home. Great product

Needed a better signal outside to listen to music on my tablet and this did the job just great

I didn't know that an extender was an available option until we visited the store to get a new modem. This has come in handy to strengthen the signal in our house. Totally recommend!

Easy connect. I’m not sure how much it is helping in a townhouse but signal seems to be a little better. Good for the price.

This extender has worked great to provide better signal in two of our upstairs bedrooms that are the furthest from where our signal initiates. It is very effective

We now have wifi throughout our ranch style home which is a huge plus in saving data usage.

I can't say for sure that it has boosted our performance but there's been no lags or drops.
