The Netgear WiFi extender does exactly what it's touted to do, extend the range of your WiFi system. I used it to boost my WiFi signal for my smart tv at the opposite end of my house from the router's location. I'd buy this product again if I needed to extend a WiFi system's signal.

I've had this item for about a month and I'm satisfied with the results. It made my unreliable signal a bit more reliable. I might purchase one for my house.

I bought this on sale, had been wanting to try a range extender but didn't want to invest a lot of money. The range extender works great but is only 802.11g so the speed isn't the best. I particularly liked the wired port that allows me to plug in a non-wifi device. I'm thinking I might try an 802.11n extender if I can get one at a good price.

My router is located at far end of 2nd floor of my home. With family room on 1st floor at opposite end of home, connectivity was poor. The poor connectivity was solved by this product. I have an older home that is not wired with coaxial cable, so this was an inexpensive yet excellent solution to my connectivity problem.

Setup interface is a bit clunky, but easy enough to navigate. Currently using to enable the use of a printer and Chromecast on an enterprise network which blocks those devices from connecting. Works as advertised.

First let me say I am not a computer geek. But this product was very easy to set up with very straight forward with easy to follow instructions. Our house has plaster walls so signal strength is much weakened. The range extender made a huge difference to our WiFi. Now we can use our laptops anywhere in the house without an issue. Highly recommended.

Great device and does what it's intended too. It did bring up my wifi in the location where it didn't have any or was low. It does mess up and take a while but nothing to big of a deal. Totally worth it.

Initial set up was simple enough, but it didn't work as well as I had hoped. After calling tech support from the company they walked me through resetting it and starting over. Since then it has worked great.

Use tablet several feet and a floor above router. Lost signal strength and web access frequently which was very frustrating. Purchased extender and viola...problem solved. Max signal strength ever since. Had many choices at Best Buy in terms of cost with this model in the middle. Strongly recommend to anyone considering a router extender.

Followed instructions and unit seemed to be programmed. Moved downstairs and could not connect. Had to set it up twice before laptops and I-pads worked. Seem OK now and better Wi/Fi on lower floor.

Needed more of a boost and it fit the bill. easy to use.

The unit works very well. Occasionally, it drops off; but shut down and turn it back on and it is fine again. Handles 5 devices at the same time in a 4 bedroom cape cod house. also, it is not expensive.

I was looking for a modem booster as the wireless signal was not reaching the opposite end of the house consistently. The store salesman was extremely helpful in suggesting to purchase the least expensive wifi extender first to see if it worked for me. Easy install and worked exactly the way I needed it to. Small and unobtrusive.

Set up was very easy. Good instructions. Brought wifi to new areas of house. Only problem is our devices use there last network not the strongest one so occasionally have to manually switch networks

Purchased this because in the back room of my house, my daughter could not get a wifi signal in her room. Purchased this at a very good price. Easy to set up. Uses same password as your current wifi router. Has the same name as well, except it adds a .ext to the end of the name. Simple to use and set up. Works great.

I couldn't believe how tiny this extender is. It couldn't be easier to use; basically just plug it into a wall outlet after you allow it to find the signal from your router. There were a lot more expensive extenders, but this one works perfectly. Went from having 1 bar to full bars in the area I needed and the location I have it in is three stories. Router is on second story and extender is on third floor. Extender signal can be received on first floor as well.

This extender was recommended by a member of the Geek Squad during set up of a new Smart TV in my basement so as to extend my home wireless network and get the best value and use out of my new TV. It was super easy to set up and very easy to use. The only drawback is having to re-enter the WEP code on every device in the house that uses the extender, but you only have to do that once.

My sons computer for online school needed to be hard lined and the only place we could do that was in the living room...not the most conducive to being productive with 4 other children in the house. This allowed me to strengthen the WiFi signal in the lower level of my home and he can plug directly into it in his room.

This simple plus and play device was instrumental in allowing my ROKU device to function properly in the basement. The range extender found my WiFi network located upstairs and once I plugged in my ROKU, I was able to complete set-up and watch streaming movies. No lag time and clear picture...Very happy with purchase
