My daughter's apple TV box was having difficulty maintaining connection with the WIFI from the downstairs opposite side of the house. I added this range extender to the upstairs hallway and she has had no further problems at all. Very easy to intall. Plugs right into a wall socket and looks cool too.

I have previously used this at home and they are a good way to solve problems with weak signal. Pros: The set up is easy and fast Cons: finding a power outlet to connect it.

Instructions for use, great! Does the job. I like that it has an ethernet connection/adapter for my laptop which now is directly connected to the router.

We've just installed the item and are only giving a preliminary overview. So far so good. Item priced good for what we're looking to do in a larger home.

I needed something to extend the wifi from my kids' house to my garage apartment on their property, and this works perfectly. I'm able to access the internet and stream videos now with no problem. Very minimal investment considering I don't have to pay a monthly charge for internet service anymore!

Simple installation: very simple installation than other wifi extender products with similar specs. With respect to speed test, it is okie. On par with other equipment..

I was having trouble getting a strong enough signal to my PS4 to allow online play. I purchased this extender and used an Ethernet cord to connect my PS4 to and it operated as if plugged directly into the router. Great option since PS4 cannot connect to 5ghz wifi.

This product does what it says. It does extend the range of my Wifi from one floor to the other. But only works best when it is directly above my wireless router. When you go up a floor vertically but then horizontally the connection gets spotty. I sometimes have to reconnect my Xbox One back to the extender, because it connects to the actual router. My guess is that my Xbox found the connection to the actual router before it can connect to the extender, although the signal to the extender should be stronger.

It's not just plug and play. Don't be in a hurry to set up. Once I got everything talking to each other and put the extender in my dead spot things are a lot better.

It makes it so the internet works perfectly in the basement. Great signal. Personally I did not need any more range than the 300. I have to unplug it and plug it back in every now and then but it works great. Easy to set up too.

This range extender as stated above simply works.. I have had this product for a couple of months now and have not had any problem with it. Where beforehand I was only able to pick up a wifi signal with my computer, now I can connect to the wifi with my iPad, iPhone, and wireless printer.

I like how when you are using this product, that when you are out of range the signal light provides an amber light, and goes green when you retrieve a good signal again.

It gets my Wi-Fi to the upstairs computers and provides a strong and constant signal. Slightly confusing directions for setup. Otherwise it's fine.

My old extender of about 5 years lost its signal and I could not find the cd that came with it This one does not need a cd and and the setup could not be easier. my second computer is at the far end of the house and the signal and speed improved significantly far better then my old one did. I have not lost the signal at all even after a power failure would highly rec-amend this product

We have 3 stories of house to deal with and would lose signal in the rooms. Purchased this after reading it's reviews and it was pretty much plug and play, within 3 minutes we have signal in those hard to reach areas.

I bought this wifi extender to help with the network connection in the room farthest from my router and it worked great. The set up was relatively easy and once it's done you really never have to think about it again. It does what it says it does and you can't beat the price. A more expensive extender might have a stronger connection but for everyday purposes this works just fine.

Great extender for the rite price and i got mine on sale. I would recommend this product to friends. Easy set up. Easy as 1.2,3. I love the fact that it boost my signal all through my house.

We purchased this after having problems getting internet connection in the lower and upper levels of the house. We have a three story house with modem on the main floor. With adding this to the lowerl level, we are able to easily get internet service on computers and TV downstairs.

With all the walls in our house, the WIFI signal rarely made it to the bedroom or out on the deck. Once the NETGEAR - Universal Wi-Fi Range Extender was installed we now have coverage not only on the deck and the bedroom, but also in the guest house another 60 feet away! Great unit.

I read the reviews on this extender and decided to try it. I have a new house that is over 3700 sq ft not counting the finished basement. I decided to try Verizon Fios and unfortunately, it was so slow and un reliable unless I used my device in the same room as the router. I called Verizon back out and it was really nothing they could do because it was installed in the most beneficial location. He recommended that I try an extender as an economical option to my problem. So, I read the reviews for an affordable extender and purchased this one. It works perfectly, easy to install and I can access the internet and watch videos from any location. As a note, the Verizon router is on the 1st floor and I have the extender plugged in the room directly above the room with Verizon router on the 2nd floor.
