For a basic extender this works fine, but there are now so many products that work better with more range and better signal strength like the Netgear nighthawk or other similar routers

Went to best buy for a wifi booster, was met by a very knowledgeable associate. He explained the capacity of all the wifi boosters and i was able to make an informed decision on my purchase. Came home, plugged in the booster and within a few minutes i had the unit running and my gadgets all hooked up and receiving a better wifi signal.

Bought this to increase coverage at lake house, especially outside areas. After trying several locations found one that works fairly well. Probably shouldn't expect more from this low priced unit.

I have a two story house with the modem upstairs in an office. I have always had a sometimes problem getting my tablet downstairs to connect. With the help of a BEST BUY "guy", I purchased this Netgear range extender and installed within 15 minutes. It works great and I improved the connection a little by moving it around; no wires-just plugs in to a standard outlet for power. Great device at a low cost!!!!

I was hoping this would extend range into my RV parked outside my house with its doors closed, but it does have some limitations. I was also hoping for a slight download speed increase but that never happened.

This extender really enhances our internet service! Before I purchased this I had to keep rebooting our internet atleast twice a week! Now it moves with lightening speed and no longer needs rebooting!
