    I looked online quite a bit before choosing this netgear model. We are very happy with the results. Our house is large and it's difficult for our Wi-Fi to reach everywhere, but after installing this unit, we have strong internet signal everywhere in the house. We did have to try a few locations before we found the perfect one, but that was only about 15 - 20 min of time. Well worth the price.

    Overall, this is a good product. It works well. However the instructions for set-up wasn't to straight forward. I had to search several website and forums before I was able to get the product up and functioning. Once it was up and running, it has performed wonderfully!!

    I suspect that the erratic behavior is not due to a problem with the Netgear product, but with COMCAST. There are some idiosyncrasies and interuptions that should not be there. If you are using it with anything other than COMCAST, the rating should be excellent.

    Recently purchased this to boost my wi-fi when I'm around the pool in my backyard. It was a little difficult to get it set up because to me the directions were not clear. I finally got it set up and it seems to be working OK.

    My gateway modem, router, Wi-Fi is located in the back of the house. Wi-Fi signal strength in the front of the house for our various tablets was low to non-existent. With the range extender located in the kitchen (about midway between the from and back of the house, we now get a strong signal in the front of the house for our Wi-Fi connections.
