I have a long ranch style house and could not get a decent signal on the one siden,ow I always have at least 3 bars. Great job and good price

This is a handy item that gives the right extension I need for my current Wi-Fi. This works well with all my wireless devices. I am happy!

this one works. follow the instructions and my wifi was extended. awesome!!! this worked with my wireless smart blue ray player where i bought one from a different store that didn't and returned it. then went to best buy and was recommended this one.

My parents had some issues connecting their cell phones to the WiFi in certain areas of their house, this solved the problem. Setup is somewhat easy (remember to do the first step sitting next to the router so they sync... I misread that step), and it worked as intended after I set it up. Parents can now connect to the extended network from their bedroom. Warning: Like any repeater/extender, there will be signal loss when using this product. Most repeaters lose about 50% bandwidth AT BEST, most of the time the signal loss is higher. If you are spending $50-80 on an extender, you may want to consider buying a more robust router with larger range (use the $50-80 towards that) In my case, it was just for cell phones (low bandwidth requirement), and for my parents who are both seniors (even lower bandwidth requirement). It served the purpose I needed for it.

Works great. Just unboxed and setup easily using the provided instructions. Now I have a network that will reach across the whole house.

i got this devise to see if it realy would improve the signal around then house and id did . this devise worked just as it says it does

Easy to set up and use. Lower band width than some others, but still works for streaming on smart tv and other high data applications.

This is a great way to extend a network's coverage of a larger house or a second floor..good for streaming TV in an upstairs family room when the router is downstairs on the other end of the house.. It sets up in minutes, is as secure as the original router, and gives wireless devices a second connection point,as well as the Ethernet port. A simple fix to a common problem.

Bought this extender because we were using too much phone data. It was very easy to set up. Now we have wifi everywhere in the house.

The price was right and setup was easy. I now get a better Wi-Fi connection in the far corners of my house where reception was spotty.

This WiFi extender was suggested to me by a member of the Best Buy team. I was looking at similar products that were over 2x the price. She told me that it wasn't necessary to spend the extra money, that she personally had purchased this one from NetGear and it was excellent. My business has great reception now and my customers are happy. A great recommendation by a Best Buy employee that saved me upwards of $70.

Can't say anything bad about this Netgear extender. It is simple to set up and simple to use. Just plug it in the wall and let your computer find it. If it doesn't give you the coverage you want where you place it, simply move it to another outlet.

Overall, this is a good item to extend your network. I replaced a Linksys extender that didn't appear to be compatible w/ my AT&T U-verse service. After doing some research, this item was my choice. It was easy to set-up in minutes and has proven to be pretty reliable. I actually have two in my home for more coverage. The only problem is an occasional reset/reboot when the power on the router recycles (may require more than one restart) but that is no big issue for me.

I was looking for something to boost my wifi signal in the family room. Very easy setup. I placed it halfway between router and family room and it took my signal strength from fair to very strong. exactly what I wanted..

I needed to extend my Comcast Wi-Fi to the other sideof my house. I just purchased a new smart TV and the signal was not strong enough. I researched extenders and found many other people had success with this unit. I bought it and went home and installed it. In about 15-30 minutes my TV picked up my Wi-Fi signal and I had internet on my TV. This unit has also helped the signal for my other handheld devices and increased my coverage outside; pool deck and front yard.

Worked like a charm! As soon as I connected it, I had a boost in range towards the other half of my house! It's hard covering 6,400sqft

This little device definitely increased the internet signal in my house. Before I used to watch Apple TV and it would disconnect due to the wek signal. Now I can place this device in the middle of the house, and still have the option to plug the ethernet cord directly from the apple tv into this extender. Definitely recommended.

I live in an area that does not get great reception so I purchased this Wi_Fi range extender to go along with my cable company WiFi and it has helped tremendously!! Easy to get working. I highly recommend to anyone looking for added reception.

Mother-in-laws WiFi coverage inside house was horrible: signal barely useable outside the room it emanated from, so we needed to extend the signal / increase the signal strength fairly inexpensively. Could've purchased a more modern modem (like alliteration?), but did not want to spend more money nor did she want to "change things too much". Bought this device, followed the installation instructions (not a noob, worked it IT for two decades+). Things were progressing nicely until the very last, when it hung up. Attempts to redo install procedure seemed to lead us down a progressively worsening path: looks like trouble. Playing a hunch, I just pretended everything went as planned, and to my surprise, initial error messages and system hangs notwithstanding, it worked. So there it sits, on the hallway electrical outlet, beaming happy WiFi signals to all the devices in the household. Be aware, however, that this device supplants your original network. Your original one still exists, but there will be a new one, with a different name (like MyOldNetwork_extended) that one needs to set up access to , in order to enjoy your new found power.
