We have it hooked up to our home security system, and it works really well. If you have more than 1600sqft of house, i would suggest a bigger one. However, this little guy, does the job well.

Boosted my signal

Its on the other side of my well-constructed house from the router. This did the trick. My only complaint, and its not with the product, is that my devices would auto switch when I get closer to the router, as the expanded network does not have a good range, but it works fantastic in my bedroom.

Good Cheap Extender

Also, I thought it was 5GHz when I bought it...my bad, but could have been better marked on the package. Otherwise it works well.

Followed the simple instructions to connect to my network. Now I have almost all full bars all over in my back yard and NO MORE BUFFERING while out there. I would highly recommend this item.

Inexpesive boost for Wi-Fi

You can plug this device into any outlet in the home then see where it will work the best on improving your signal.
