||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to give me PS4 that's downstairs better signal from my Comcast wifi modem upstairs...from the modem 59mbps, near the modem 36 on wifi...downstairs PS4 was getting 10-15 now getting about 25....but this extender is right next to the PS4 so its not getting a good signal to start with...not a knock against it just my houses outlet placement. Hope this helps!

I would estimate this distance to be 40 ft. So I plugged in the extender about 20 ft from both. It works great! Never have a problem not getting a signal. I would recommend this to anyone.

The main Wi-Fi (Netgear WNDR4500) is located about 75 feet from the extender. The Extender configured and was operating within minutes of plugging into the wall....
