Customers are pleased with the Universal Wi-Fi Range Extender's ease of use, Wi-Fi range, and signal strength. Many appreciate its quick setup, compact size, and good performance for the price. However, some experienced connection instability, and compatibility issues were also reported by a few users. The Ethernet port was a welcome feature for some.

Purchased Netgear WI FI extender for mother in law. Setup is very easy and seems to provide enough quality signal for streaming HD TV.

it took longer than anticipated to get it up and running. I'm still not sure if it's made a difference or if adding 25 MBPs

It has helped extend the range of our wifi in the house but not quite as far as i expected. Still, satisfactory.

Unit was simple to put into service and as I expected there was a speed lose in getting wifi signal through the unit, the lose was too great for this to be my solution.

When I bought this, I was hopeful in wanting to extend the WiFi to the range of my room, and I was not disappointed. It actually does the job perfectly. Priced just right, and is compatible with a lot of Wireless Routers, it does right for small to medium sized houses.

Not impressed with this product. We even had spectrum look at it and they said we needed a more powerful extender for the house. Probably works in a small apartment.

Product works as described. We could never get a strong wifi signal in our mancave even though our house is only 1,400 sq ft. It was very frustrating until we purchased this product. I just plugged it in and now we get a good signal and everyone is happy!

The connection was not stable, but the cause could be the source of the WiFi signal. So not not sure if the product is faulty

Good wifi extender and does a great job. Just get the wifi code from your neighbor because “your internet is down” and you’ll be set with free internet until he charges the password!!

Signal is weak when connected to printer. Sometimes it takes the printer a while to find the signal to print.

The Summary says it all. I connected the device downstairs in the middle of the first floor to cover areas getting low WiFi signal. The setup was straight forward and very easy. Works like a charm for my family now. All my Ring devices now have great signal to their cameras.

this little device fix the issue where i wasn't getting any good connections on my 2nd floor loft. Just follow the easy instructions and hook it up about mid point between your router and where your signal is not to strong and you will see the difference that this device can do.

So this sets up ANOTHER wireless network in your home, NOT a mesh network. Still it's a great solution to the rooms upstairs needing a boost to the wifi signal for the Rokus/Chromecast.
I wouldn't suggest doing much gaming over it. The repetition of the signal would offer high pings.

Look For Better

It works pretty well but it has problems. I would look for a better option because it doesn’t have a lot of bandwidth. I can run things off of it then it starts to act like I don’t even have wifi when connected. Lately it has been giving me alot of problems and im only running my TV and phone on it. Look for better than it was lovely at first and now it sucks and works partially.
