wow, glad we have this extender to stay connected and not get dropped. 100 % to recommend to friends.

It connects to WiFi router easily but I am not too impressed with the connection between it and my devices

Range is sporadic and not great for connection - loses the signal often

It works ok but the range is limited in our basement. Works well for two floors.

Not as strong as I thought it would be. We got this to help with the lag of the ring doorbell

Works OK for the money. It tends to lose signal from time-to-time. Otherwise it supplies a lot of signal for a reasonable distance.

I was having trouble getting streaming reception on my second floor TV. After plugging this in on the same level, reception was much better.

This is a wi fi but not for what I wanted it for. It has helped in the house but not for outback so much.

This device works like a charm. Does 2 things 1. Creates internet boost and allows direct wire connection away from wifi box. Set up is a bit quirky but once set up you don't need to worry about it again.

Worked pretty good for us when we were in an apartment and needed better service in our bedroom.

Works ok, but has glitchy software (had to re-set to factory to log-in after using it for a month), but I couldn’t get signal at the back if my 2 acre property without it. Latency at that distance is good enough for zoom(TCP), but slack calls can’t keep up (RTCP / UDP) and slowly get out if sync. (Stateful vs stateless I think). Summary = Works ok, but not top-of-the-line

We moved our computer and needed to extend our wifi, and it does what it is supposed to do.

I live in government housing; a 2 apartment put together so you can imagine that my wireless router would not cover my whole house. With the help of this extender, this allowed me the coverage i needed throughout the house and i can move it from place to place.

Eliminated my problem of not being able to stay connected to wifi while sitting outside the house or in the yard. Problem solved!

Midpoint location required by Netgear extender between existing router and receiving laptop resulted in such a low signal that download speed was unacceptable. Plus the Netgear extender further reduced an already low signal. Use of the extender was abandoned.

This extended is only good if you plan on doing VERY minimal tasks; emailing, web browsing, etc. NOT good for video calls, streaming YouTube videos, or music. We have an Apple AirPort Extreme and get speed of 350 MB/s. However, it is in a basement and would not reach our third floor or our backyard. While we now have full internet reception on the third floor or backyard, it is at greatly reduced speed. Usually less than 20 MB/s, sometimes almost 0. Literally; there are times we get less than 1. This obviously makes video calling freeze, YouTube constantly freezing, etc. and we end up having to connect to 4G LTE any way. Would return but too late.

This unit was connected easily and works like a champ! Also great instructions! Love the lights that show how close or how far away you are from the router. We found a sweet spot and now we have excellent connection outside! Great product!

I use it in the shed and a backyard. It helps but wouldn’t say it’s the best

When I moved into a new apartment my wireless router had to be installed far away from where my computer was which resulted in choppy video streaming. I looked into this product and picked one up, it works great and I have had no video streaming issues since.

For the price, this is a good product. However, if you spend a few bucks more, you open yourself up to wifi extenders that cover a broader range.
