Works great and went from one bar to five in my basement and internet speed greatly increased with no drops - had to reset it once in last three months

Sufficiently does what it claims. Besides having to have a PC to pair the thing it offers a good product for a great price.

This range extender cannot be placed more than a few feet from the router. It also sucks up all the bandwidth from it. I wish I could return it.

Set was a disaster and I spent several hours trying to make it work. Then I discovered that this item will not work with Verizon Fios....frustrating.

We had one room in our house that was not getting wifi. With the extender we are now getting wi fi reception in that room.

My router was in the basement and my room was upstairs in the far corner. My internet was unreliable. After installing this extender I am able to browse the web w/o losing connection or buffering. Very Happy!

The extender works as advertised. It was somewhat confusing getting it all set up but once that was done, it seems to be working great.

This has been working pretty good so far. Every once in a while it will drop off. It seems like it is due to inactivity. Not 100%.

This is a good tool but not great it does extend your wireless range but does have a tendency to drop the signal once in a while and you have to reset it

I guess it works. Have it plugged in the hallway. Wish it was a little more powerful.

Works very well and allow me to use wifi in distant rooms, which allows me to complete work on computer.

The Netgear extender creates a new access point that is joined to your existing wireless router. You have to manually switch to the network ID that has the best reception. In my situation I didn't need the bandwidth provided by AC. Wireless N had plenty of speed. This extender allows me to browse the web or stream video to devices I was unable to reach with my wireless router alone.

I previously had a weak area for my in house wifi. Once I plugged in the extender, I was able to pick up a much stronger signal and haven't had an issue since. I highly recommend this device if you are having trouble connecting to your wifi.
