Son was looking to boost the speed of his gaming, or at least reduce the lag. His room is around the corner from the wi-fi, and this gadget did the job. Not bad for the price, have to look at what you need to avoid over spending.

There is a free android ap that you get to help with proper placement. Follow the instructions and you won't have any problems.

I Haven't as of yet set this extender up yet. It is a Netgear so it should be acceptable.

Works great for my back house providing more range throughout the whole house

Helps extend our WiFi to the back yard and garage. So if you have smart bulbs or smart garage door opener this extender helps this work.

Set up directions were simple and easy to implement. Provided good connectivity in an isolated location.

Bought this to extend the signal from the router to the wireless cable box. Come to find out that the cable box isn't programmable to the extender. It does extend the signal to the back of my house and works great!

Seems OK to me and the rest of this statement is to meet the minimum character requirement

This wiifi booster is good but didn't give me enough boost to reach into my bedroom from my office. (about 150 feet).

Serves it's purpose well, has good range throughout my downstairs. Router is up in the corner of the house so downstairs down't get much signal.

Used this to connect to my "Symphony" Water furnace which has a low, shelf powered wfi to provide performance data to user and manufacture. Extender has worked flawlessly so far. Excellent quality and cost.

This has helped out, our house is 2200 Sq ft. And route is on one side of the house

Took this out of the box, plugged it into an outlet and it easily connected to my existing wifi. I put it between my wifi router and a irrigation controller in my garage and everything works great.

It did not work out as expected. We bought it because our cell phone Wi-Fi kept getting diconnected from the router. It turns out that you needed to have both networks in the phones and would need to change from one to the other if it disconnected from the one originaly link to. It seemed to be more trouble then it was worth. I wound up just moving our wireless router to the middle of the house. It also slowed down the bit rate, as well. Just not for us..!

Had a few issues getting o=it set up and working. i had it placed to close to my wireless router and was causing my lap top to try and connect to both routers . Moved it further away and it works fine

Works as advertised. Just be aware and follow the outline on where to place the extender. Obviously do not permanently place it to the main Router/Wireless Route nor directly at the a very far distance, but somewhere half way.

I needed to connect two things to the router that were in range but the signal was not very strong. This was able to connect to the router and provide the strength I needed for the items to work consistently.

I got this to test extending wifi at remote broadcast locations. Setup was easy enough and if it's close enough to the router; connecting is easy. However, it doesn't extend the signal far enough and I have experienced intermittent connection loss that causes drops in broadcast and failure of file transfers. You're better off with a better router.

I have a lot of dead spots in my home so I purchased the first one for the upstairs bedroom and it worked so well I purchased a second one for another area that had dead spots as well. They both work perfectly.

Bought this not because I needed to extend my wireless network, but because I needed a wired connection in a location that was difficult to get a cable to (router on 2nd floor, needed RJ45 in basement). Works fine. No setup issues.
