    I tried the Ring Chime, and couldn’t get reception . So I tried the Netgear WiFi extender , and Immediately my ring cams were working !

    I bought hoping to extend the range of my wifi to a dead spot in the house but turns out it was No what I wanted. It turned the router into a second access point in which you had to click on to make work rather than being a constant internet source and it didn't improve internet signal.

    I will be returning this item. It would not work with my Linksys wifi. I spoke with the Netgear Tech support and she could not get it to work and tried to sell me some sort of cleanup service for my desktop. I was on the phone with her for over 30 minutes only to be told if I pay for one of their services to clean my computer she would be able to get the range extender to work. Of course, I declined the offer and felt that I was being scammed. I probably will not be purchasing any Netgear products in the future.
