Got faster WiFi into basement

this item would not work with my Linksys wifi.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will be returning this item. It would not work with my Linksys wifi. I spoke with the Netgear Tech support and she could not get it to work and tried to sell me some sort of cleanup service for my desktop. I was on the phone with her for over 30 minutes only to be told if I pay for one of their services to clean my computer she would be able to get the range extender to work. Of course, I declined the offer and felt that I was being scammed. I probably will not be purchasing any Netgear products in the future.
