    I purchased this wi-fi extender and could not get it to connect to my wireless router. I contacted the Netgear help line and they walked me through the install. It still would not connect and they confirmed it was defective and take back to the store. I did and exchanged it for a different one. Got home and found that the new one was dead on arrival. Took it back to the store and got my money back.

    Easy to connect and set up. Only issue is that no matter where I place it, the outgoing signal occasionally turns red (weak signal). I have moved it several times and the extender still occasionally turns red.
