After a lot of fuss and bother, in both cases, I was able to get it to work. It is great at providing more coverage for wireless LAN. But, for no apparent reason, it loses its link with the base, even though it's getting a strong signal from the base. So, I get a message that the network extension is there, but I cannot log into it. It's very frustrating. Great when it works. But, it rarely works.
