Customers are pleased with the Universal Wi-Fi Range Extender's ease of use, Wi-Fi range, and signal strength. Many appreciate its quick setup, compact size, and good performance for the price. However, some experienced connection instability, and compatibility issues were also reported by a few users. The Ethernet port was a welcome feature for some.

There's too many restrictions on where you can put it. Still works pretty decently though.

I live in an older house with thick walls. I have nothing to compare it to so I am assuming it's pretty good.

Didn't do the trick for me, but every situation is different, so it may work for you. At least this had the option of being used as both an extender and a new access point if you hard wire it. Mal so have to create additional wifi name. I opted to purchase a stronger wifi router instead of the router provided by my cable internet provider.

My wifi coverage does not reach my son's bedroom, i wanted an extention to my wifi coverage, but it worked as it was another wifi (network), and could not keep my google home set up as one, but as two different networks.... i was not able to cast from my phone to his tv or mini due to being in different networks....

The range extender worked great when it was connected. Unfortunately every now and then it would disconnect and I would have to reset the network connection to get it to work. I purchased another one and it seemed to work the same.

Had to return this item since I could not get it to work. The replacement item worked like a charm and was easy to configure and install. The replacement item cost was twice as much but worth every penny as it works well. The replacement product was an amped wireless range extender SR10000.

Tried the device in several outlets on our first floor. I could not get the device to connect, it never turned green to show a connection. Wish that it would have worked since I now have to spend a additional $150 a year for upgraded service from my provider. Bummer.

If it looses the signal from the router, it asks for all setting steps to be performed

Needed it to get Wifi over to my home office, it would work well for a while but then it would drop out. Each drop out caused my citrix to drop out as well. I took it back and got better results with the 5G connection. I'm guessing less interference.
