It's honestly a pain in the butt. I ended up buying a new router to find consistent coverage. A mesh network is a superior solution.

I tried to follow the instructions in the booklet that came with this, using the URL provided. That URL does not resolve. I tried calling their support team to find out if there was an actual website to set up this device, and the "support" member was completely useless. All I wanted was a website address, and he insisted on taking control of my computer. Not a chance, so I hung up and googled this URL. Turns out there are dozens of comments from other users about this URL issue. So I tried the alternate method, using the wps button. This product was five feet from the router, and it couldn't connect. I returned it.
