These things don’t work, just get a better router.

Have not seen any improvement in internet. Plan on returning it.

Maybe it was my individual setup, but it was useless in my case.

Im not to sure why i bought this, we use the netgear extenders at work and the UI has always been unfreidnly and that has yet to change. The device works as a new signal is being broadcast out but the upload/download speeds are much worse then on my wireless modem.

Item did not work, exchanged for a brand that did.

I still haven't figured out how to tell if the wireless is improving

Wifi wasn't boosted that much but it helps. Was expecting much more.

It's a good item but be sure you have good Internet

This is trash after getting all hooked up yes it works but it slows down your internet bad i was geting download speeds of 0.77 to 1.3 mbps this is cheap quality stay away

Didn't work the way I needed it to kept dropping signal

Range is not great. Every now and the I get “ no internet connection”. Also iPhone shows “weak security” when my regular WiFi through router does not show the “ weak security” warning

Not the best product because it doesn't reach upstairs as well

Netgear wi-fi range extender would not work based on the directions. Called Netgear -they tried to remotely fix it and could not do so. Netgear recommended that i return the product. Will do so. It was a frustrating experience.

It did not solve my problem of having internet prob.

I bought this thinking it would be a simple install and an effective solution to the wifi dead zone at one end of my house. The directions are terrible. I finally called the help number and got some guy in India who I could not understand, and he seemed to have trouble understanding me as well. We got nowhere. I finally hung up and worked some more on my own. I finally got my computer to recognize the extender, but the only web-page I could access was the one for netgear, where I put in the user name and password they give in the instructions. I was unable to navigate away from that page, however. When I tried, the computer would search for a few minutes and then say it was unable to connect. I took it back and bought an Amped Wireless Repeater. That works great!
