Very choppy and lost a ton of speed. Actually made the range weaker in terms of quality and speed on the second floor of my home. To be clear this was not an improvement at all.

Did not work for what it was suppose to work for..

Wanted this to work, it didn't. After plugging this in the same room as my router to set it up, it said the signal was weak. I moved it to another outlet in the same room, and then it was acceptable. after connecting I moved it to where I would install it, just 20 feet away and it immediately acquired the signal without any issue. Problem was, each time I would connect a device to the EXTended signal put out by this device, every device said "No internet access." Basically, rendering this thing completely useless. I had to return it.

good it your not changing routers or need to reset system.

Difficult setup, instructions were not easy to follow and didn't seem to strengthen the weak spots. I'm comfortable with IT and generally don't have a problem with tech setup. Should have done more research and maybe bought a couple of steps up.

Definitely a waste of money. Very dissatisfied !!!

The price was right....but I had a difficult time getting this to sync with my router. When it finally did sync I didn't notice much of a difference in reception. I have a Netgear router and finally got it to sync using Netgear genie.

Small home. Does not boost as it should for the space we have. Tried placing it in different areas of our home, not much of a difference. Will get a second router. Cannot recommend this product.

Bought this extender to replace one that died. Not enough signal strength to cover the area I needed to cover. Returned the extender and purchased a more expensive Linksys AC1200 which works far better and covers my area nicely.

This device was not able to get good WiFi to reach one side of my 3,500 sq ft home. It “worked”, but signal was so poor that you couldn’t FaceTime or stream anything on TV.

It may or May not help at all. I got it for stronger signal in my bedroom which is furthest from the router. If it works, it maybe gives me a slightly stronger signal. Definitely not worth buying in my opinion.

The price of the item was ok, but I guess you get what you pay for. Perhaps, if I spent more, I'd get a better extender. It barely extended it to another part of my house and the signal strength is mildly better at best.

I bought this to extend my WiFi network. Only able to extend it to the 1st Floor from the Cable Model. Not able to reach needed area without Extender timing out. Went back to purchase a different brand and less expensive.

I bought this to extend my WiFi service and I still have poor reception and believe me the house is about 1100 square feet and it says that it covers a house bigger than that. Not impressed.

Bought 2 of these set up was quick and easy. Kept kicking off WiFi. Disappointed they didn’t work. Easy return and refund process.

I purchased this product November 2015, worked great for 7 months, and then it took a huge dump on me. I took it to Best Buy and they said that it was out of their hands and I needed to call Netgear. I called Netgear, told them my problem, and the guy won't do anything until I purchase more warranty at a minimum of $80 for 6 months. The warranty on the box says 1 year parts and labor, I guess that is a bunch of lies. I will not purchase Netgear products again, and I suggest you think hard about how much you are willing to spend to for future help, or even try to return the product, when purchasing from Netgear.

This device was easy to configure & use, but it just wouldn't help wifey's iPhone use wi-fi upstairs. I had to return it.

Not what I expected. It actually slowed down my internet speeds and really didn’t expand its reach. Had more success just relocating my router

This Net Gear Wi-fi range extender does not seem to make any difference in our ability to receive Netflix. Netflix is still slow and not responsive most of the time. We bought it on the advise of an associate.
