This extender has poor range. It works, then it doesn't work. Was told there are probably too many people using the wifi in my house for this model. Going to purchase the next one up from this model.

I tried the wifi extender in several locations in my home, including the same room my wifi was in, and always got the same message, try locating the unit closer to the wifi unit.

I could not get the wireless signal to work for me, I tried several different things before I returned it to store, ended up buying a 100' Ethernet cable and hooked up my security system that way

I would not recommend this product. Get a stronger router instead. I had trouble setting it up and it didn't work we'll once installed. I returned it to the store and purchased a stronger wireless router instead which I love.

We tried using this in multiple locations of our home to boost the WiFi signal in the bedroom, didn't matter where we put this it didnt. Expensive item sitting in a box

I tried for hours to set this up with no luck. Even had a friend come by and give it his best, but he had no success as well. I returned it and replaced it with a Belkin, which I was able to set up in a couple of minutes.

This product did not work at all for me. I was unable to connect it to my router through wireless or physical connection. The help documentation is also poor and did not help my troubleshoot the issue.

very dissaponted, after set up my kids complaints having internet disconnected and have to enter password again and signal was poor, I guess i will try a more expensive one and see how it works.

If you are trying to enhance your signal from the main router to use in a finished basement I would not get this particular one it did not work. I would have returned it but lost the receipt

Unfortunately, unable to set up despite following instructions, trying the online website instructions and had to return it.

Horrible! Difficult to install for anyone who is not a geek! Number to call for help wants you to buy a plan! No way. Chucked it in my junk closet.

I purchased this product to extend my WiFi signal I have a tv that keeps buffering. This did not work at all!! What a waste of money. Thankfully Best Buy let me return it.

This did not work for me. My wifi actually is better without it, and it continues to bounce in and out. I will be returning.

Junk - this slowed down my wifi network and did not work as expected. Returned it pretty much the same day I bought it.

Did create an extended network, but my network speed on this was slower than on the main network itself so it ended up getting returned.

This product is terrible, I purchased it for my daughter in college and we were not able to get it set up. Returned for a refund I do not recommend this item.

Had a very tough time getting connected to the WiFi in my home. After several attempts I returned the product the next day.

This is bad, did not work, spend a bit more and get the Tp-link one with three antennas. Solved my dead spot issues and haven’t looked bad.

This did not extend my WiFi. It did not do what I needed, but that could have been that I was not knowledgeable about the product.

We purchased this router extender and it has not workied properly since day one. We called Netgear Support and they were no help at all. would not recommend.
